Now that I've been here a while ... I notice that there have been people that I've met here that are now no longer here.

This thread is to mention those people, and why you miss them. It could be something deep ... or just that you met them briefly and then they were gone and you wish you' had had one more post to them ...

Here's my first entry.

between 10-5-02 and 12-20-02 Manhunter had 1187 posts ... and dissapeared. I was priveligded enough to interact with her on the evening/morning she made her 1000th post and gained her title ...

Now she's gone ... I would have liked to have seen her around one more time ...

Here's another ....

KK isn't really gone ... he still shows up from time to time ... but for quite a while he was always here, particularly on the True Confessions and Midwestern threads. He was/is the captain of the PPB and near as I can tell ... a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Always willing to give you advice if you wanted it and that advice was from the heart and wasn't tailored to what you wanted to hear ... never gave advice unless you asked ... and always an ear to listen.

He is not gone ... but I miss him.

What is PPB?

There was a poster named Daisy and we had a couple of good laughs together. She wrote well, seemed really intelligent and snappy. She was married to a Filipino guy. It would be nice to know how she's doing.

The PPB is the "Pocket Pal Brigade" ... a group of ne'er-do-wells that rode in the pockets of gals who were having a hard time and did their best to cheer them up ... KK, me, and Oman were the original members ...

Nickton- he stood by me through a lot and was like a big brother to me. Loved when he would call from England just to make sure I was ok.

Jeff (nrmca98)- he always made me laugh. sweetheart!

Mistress- love that girl. i miss everything about her

Harmless Pig- gotta love my pig!

Papi- we had a good relationship. total sweetie.

Phelan- gave him my heart. lots of beautiful memories.

Artful- he taught me a lot. he was wise, insightful and true

whspr- my sis with a big heart.

cutie pie- another "sis". great person

Raw Humor- my "bro". he was someone that cared. loved sharing my Lit time with him. Tons of laughs and support from him.

Maybe this is weird to say ... I miss me ... which is to say that I miss being on Lit like I was. Lately I find that I'll go through a day or more and not even lurk ... and it not's because I don't want to be here. It's just R/L being the total pits.

I'm still here, Sissy. I know I don't post very much lately...but,
I still try to lurk some cuz I worry about how you all are.
Thank you for missing me. It's a good feeling to know someone
out there actually realizes that you aren't around much. That
let's me know that I made a friend here at LiT. Real life has
a way of making you deal with it and it seems I spend alot
of time trying to find "me" lately. Just know, SissyGirl, I still
love and think of you often.
