who do you know?

Its funny, some of the people you meet on here you become close to, you learn about them outside of posts to the point they are friends, you care about them when they are down, you are happy for them when they are up, you want to know whats new in their lives and offer them help when they ask, or dont ask! lol
Yeah, it's kind of weird. You feel you know people, you care about them, you know more details about them than about your local buddies. But still you sometimes have only a vauge idea who (as in name, age, place) they are.

Really, have you been to church with someone from Lit also?

Well, ok, not quite, but I think we drove past one once.

So then you must have originally meant that you got laid. ;)

Was it everything you had hoped for?

I've never met anyone from Lit, although I've certainly been inspired by some of the people here and would be happy to meet them in person if it were possible.

I used to 'work' with people on 'virtual teams' around the world that I never met in person, so this actually feels normal to me.

(I'm not anti-social! Really I'm not!!)

Yep, well it's lasted a year, so I think so. ;)

(Well, not just the one long one for a year, but yannow. :p)

i know no one

I know no one that I know of, you know? I'm curious however. If you do end up meeting someone or find that you do know someone here , does it affect your writing? Can you remain as perverted as you were before, knowing that there's somebody out there who's looked behind the veil?

I already feel more self conscious about some things- just because I feel like I 'know' most of the regulars. I don't feel like I have that anonymity that I started with. I was going to post on that topic, but I had forgotten about it until what you just said.

I wouldn't post any really dirty pics of me either, and I'd feel funny about puting a 'crotch shot' or something like that in my av- although a nipple one maybe:) vs- I think if i stayed on the GB it might be different. But who knows.

I know someone on Lit. Have been friends with her for years, she is the one who told me about it and here i am. I wanted a place where i could try out writing and she said the AH would be the place for me. I'm not sure what she goes by as she hasn't been here for a bit but there is sure to be "fairy" somewhere in her name.

How intriguing! Like wandering the boards, alert for the tunings of a familiar fairy voice.

I'm fairly certain I'd know her anywhere. I know her voice so well yet she maybe different here on Lit. I guess I'll wait and find out.

I have not yet met any person in RL, but for a time a had a lot of contact through mail with a writer from Lit.
There's another writer I keep in touch with, but he's no longer posting here as he is very ill.
And I have contact with a few fans.

Otherwise, some people from the forum feel closer than mere acquaintances and sometimes we share IM, PM's or email. But most of you live on the other side of the ocean, so it's not very likely I'll meet you all in the flesh.

:( :D
