I dont think the interview with Burke is going to reveal much more than is already known about the case. There was one thing though; the weapon comprised of rope and Mrs. Ramsey's paintbrush was far too elaborately constructed to have been made by someone unfamiliar with how to tie knots. It would indicate the perpetrator was more knowledgeable than a nine-year-old boy would have been.
A lot of emphasis has been placed on some of the random evidence which came from the Ramsey home...the paper the note was written on, the paintbrush, etc. To me, that indicates that whoever performed this hideous crime was not prepared to kill the child then and there. In my mind, I see someone who fancied themselves in love with her, thought that she would accept their advances and admiration without question, and when she put up a struggle, they killed her to silence her, or perhaps to preserve their memory of her in some distorted way as her returning their affections. Only a psychotic person would have these notions, and clearly the Ramseys, while they had their own issues, were not psychotic in this fashion. It will be interesting to watch these re-do investigations unfold over the next two weeks.
