In Indiana Jones, when he and the girl are in the snake pit...I can't even watch it! Shivers....snakes--yuck!
 
I have been known to despise pretty much all human life at one time or another. Generally today, I can keep it under 2 billion people at one time. Think any of them care?

Not really - I've tried to give up the God-playing business. It didn't work for me.

Petty people pretty much do it for me these days....

On the subject of snakes--Martha Stewart just grates on me...Her sanctimonious, condescending attitude makes me want to hit her in the face with a cream pie and knock the pins out from under her. :D "Nuff said!

There are others who make my , "Do your best to avoid " list.

But OBL gets the big prize.
 
What do I despise? I probably despise more than anything a person that can't argue or debate a point without resorting to lame personal insults. I see this everywhere. When one does not agree with your opinion, you can easily become a stupid imbecile. To those people I say grow up, leave the name calling behind and if you can't find confidence in yourself to the the point you feel the need to cut someone else down then go back to kindergarten. I despise judgemental people, those that are quick to jump to assumptions without looking at the whole view. There is never just one side to anything and to assume otherwise is to be only half informed. I despise people that categorize others based on their experiences only. Not everyone is cut from the same mold. Everyone deserves a chance to prove what they are. I despise people that can say they love someone and then try to change everything about that person. You fell in love with the original, it was good enough then. If you feel the need to change it, you are trying to control it....not good. I despise the saying, "If you love me you'd do..." If YOU loved me you'd share what displeases you, it's up to me to change what makes you unhappy, not you to change me...then all you get is something that was not freely given. I don't despise bugs or snakes, most of them have a purpose in this world, albeit some seem to thrive on scaring humans. I don't despise a person for their outer shell, it is only the inside that can be either ugly or beautiful. I despise people that walk over another's freedom and call it their right. I despise the guy in the car next to me that has his music playing so loud I can't hear mine. And last but not least (I'm quitting before I really get on my soapbox)I despise the battery makers that make cheap batteries...they never die at a good time.

Meop is right...my body would blind anyone! Not all of us are as tan as you--I despise people who tan easily--while I freckle and burn...LOL :p
