White Supremacists

The elevation of Bannon to a powerful position in the White House is an epochal event in American politics, one that has been condemned by the N.A.A.C.P., the A.D.L., and many Democratic leaders, including Harry Reid, whose spokesman said in a statement, “President-elect Trump’s choice of Steve Bannon as his top aide signals that White Supremacists will be represented at the highest levels in Trump’s White House.”

I've seen so many people say this man is a racist but I've seen no proof of it. Could you or someone enlighten me? Honestly the NAACP is a hardcore racist organization merely by their existence so I'm confused..

Half of the country doesn't give a shit, which is disturbing. Even Jon Stewart thinks it's business as usual, which is even more disturbing.

Jon Stewart hosted a comedy show about the news.. what are his credentials that would make me believe his opinion is worth anything?

If you had a website that attracted white supremacists, would you

A: Remove the links that they find popular, and create content that makes them feel unwelcome.

or

B: Put up links and create content to attract more white supremacists to your site.

Do you mean Breitbart?

Maybe a better approach for my understanding would be to ask if most people associate nationalism with racism and white supremacy...

I have ever gone to Breitbart so I honestly can't say if they've posted stories that would attract the stormfront types. Though assuming what you say is true would it be fair to say that anything related to Breitbart is construed as racist to those on the left? Similar to Drudge Report being a right wing shithole?

No she isn't/wasn't. That was mostly Republican Swiftboating and you bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Are you saying it was Republicans who induced her to unsafely store classified emails on her personal computer? Were they the ones who persuaded Hilly to leave Americans in harm's way and then lie about? Was it the GOP who shoveled money to Iran in exchange for their worthless promise? Did Republicans persuade her to foment a revolution in Libya?

You're wasting your time, SR71's tongue is forever planted deep inside Hillary Clinton's colon.

He's and establishment Wall St. (D) zombie.

Damn, have you been hitting the Kool-Aid.

White Supremacists....anyone who is caucasian and doesn't vote democrat?
No, anyone who thinks themself caucasian (irregardless of their actual ethnic background) who considers themself superior to and/or victimized by n!ggers, ch!nks, sp!cks, jews, native amer!cans, tasman!ans, and/or orcs.

Unless they (any minorities or women) go off the reservation and stop voting (D)....then they are totally white supremacist too!!!

It's the default "I don't like what you have to say, FUCK YOU!!!" move of regressive lefties like Clinton an her supporters.

Agree with them or you're racist/misogynist/xenophobe~!

I keep hearing, "White Supremacy." and "Republicans are racist." But I have yet to see any proof of it. Meanwhile, the radical left are rioting, attacking old white men and being a nuisance. For a group that preaches tolerance, peace and love, they sure as hell don't practice it.

You preach tolerance, peace and love. But when push comes to shove evil must be fought. Are all Republicans racists? Fuck no! Do the alt-right Nazi wannabes cling to the GoP fringe? Yes they do. Does the right of center in the US do everything it can to rid it self of racists and white supremacists? Not even close!

If you find yourself marching down the street in support of an issue and you look to either side of you and find you are marching shoulder to shoulder with KKK and Nazis. You need to rethink your position.

the Republicans don't practice what they preach

For a party that likes to talk "Family Values" and is overwhelmingly supported by religious fundies, they sure picked a cheating, pussy grabbing, lying, racist president.

The "religious" right is perfectly happy to lay down with the KKK, AWESOMENESS

As for the Dems, I thought we were "snowflakes" and "crybabies?" Now we're a bunch of violent meanies. Which is it?

As to you "not seeing it," I'm sure you "don't see" the hate crimes of Trump supporters in the last two weeks, either.

IMO, Harry Reid is a complete idiot. While I haven't yet read your link (I will try to later) I don't believe Jews like Pamela Geller and Pau Gottfried (I think he's Jewish) would defend Bannon if there were any genuine credibility to the claim that Bannon is a white supremacist (another claim about Bannon is he is anti-Semetic). Just another leftist smear job.

The link below closes with this unambiguous statement, which describes that non-entity Harry Reid quite well:

"Given the Left’s ridiculous double standards, one has to wonder on what planet the Left and the rest of Bannon’s haters are standing."

Weren't the White Supremacist one of those all girl cover bands in the 60's that were created to give black music a white face?

Besides, if you don't LOVE Trump it is because you are a racist. Also a homophobic misogynist. Add on xenophobic.

Thanks to Saul Alinsky for Rules for Radicals (#12). (Just seeing if it works in reverse.)

It's kind of weird that Dubya didn't draw the same criticisms, though he was just as loathed.

Perhaps, just a guess, it has to do with what Dump did on his campaign, and who he's put in his cabinet.

It truly is amazing.

We all saw the speeches, heard the same things, saw the same rallies.

45% of you thought, "Well now that's a fine man. He'll make a fine President."

47% of us (and the rest of the world, besides Russia) violently vomited at what we were seeing and hearing. Everyone else felt revulsion and disgust at the blatant racism, sexism, and xenophobia, and the "Lock her Up" misogyny. The lying, the incompetence, the stupidity, the conflict of interest, the threats of violence and the hate crimes that followed in its wake.

The rest of you . . . . "just don't see it." Or if you do, it doesn't concern you. Or you simply deny and turn yourselves into victims. So we're looking at you like your average German in the 1930s who looked the other way at what was right in front of them.

You're blind. And you're in the minority.

I would guess that most people don't understand that the hatred that has been bred against the federal government, the mainstream news media, and Hillary Clinton aren't related. Add in the variables that moderate conservatives have been labeled RINO's and cuckservatives by the alt-right, and that bringing down the government is the goal of many on the alt-right since capitalism and democracy have failed, according to them. Add in white male supremacy and that people actually believe the news from sources like Breitbart and InfoWars and Rush et al, and then a savior appears. Trump. 81% of white evangelicals voted for a crude pussy-grabbing, lying, vindictive, serial adulterer, whose main purpose in life is self-enrichment at the expense of others. And the GOP leadership still believes they can control Trump.

I have stated often and as plainly as I can that I have never been a fan Of Trump. He was never my choice. So I don't care to defend him.

What you don't seem to understand is that very close to 1/2 of this nation could turn everything you say about Trump and apply it to Hillary. They view her in the same way as you view Trump. But I think that democrats will miss the point if they just keep screaming personal attacks at people who disagree with them.

It is my opinion that The DNC rigged their own primary system to guarantee the coronation of Hillary. Don't complain about how Hillary won more votes but lost the election. Bernie Sanders won the most votes in New Hampshire, but Hillary walked away with more delegates. And is memory serves, that was not the only time. So don't rail on about the electoral college. It is the height of hypocrisy.

In the end, the DNC crowned the only candidate that Donald Trump could possibly beat. Almost anyone else in the Democrat inventory would have wiped the floor with him. Bernie Sanders most certainly would have. He was speaking to the same working class that Trump addressed and Hillary ignored. So that is on the DNC, not white males.

If Hillary had engendered the same turnout as Obama, she would have won. Why didn't she? Because a large part of the Democrat party doesn't like her. That is why there was a Sanders insurgency to begin with. Again, if the process had not been rigged in favor of Hillary, he would have been the candidate. He would now be President Elect.

Just a personal aside, although I likely disagree with Sanders on everything political, I could sit down with him and have a cup. At least as far as I can tell from his public persona, he is an honorable person who is not a liar. He plainly stated what he believed. He is the opposite of Hillary.

Democrats stayed home for the same reasons that Republicans stayed home the last two elections. Republican base saw McCain and Romney as just more elitists that did not represent them. Many democrats saw Hillary the same way. A liar that claimed she was for the oppressed while making millions off of Wall Street and the banks. Even her husband said that she was a terrible candidate. So if the democrats lost this election, look to your own party first. Look to Wasserman-Shultz.

And we should all remember that the first thing that Trump was, was a giant flaming middle finger from the republican base to the Republican elitist establishment. Voters repeatedly sent people to Congress who promised to do, and then didn't. and they were just fucking fed up. So fuck you republican leadership. We are going to blow up the Party.

And get off of all this shit about she won the popular vote but lost the election. The electoral college was invented to protect the small states from the tyranny of the large states. To become president, you must compete in all (originally 13) 50 contests not just one big one. That means that if you don't go to Wisconsin, and address the need of the people there, you don't win Wisconsin. Without the Electoral College, candidates would only care about NYC to Boston corridor, the I-4 corridor in Florida along with Miami area. The west coast of middle to southern California, and key parts of Texas. The whole rest of the country could fuck off. While that might be great for me as I live in one of those, it is not the country I want to live in.

What we saw was the revenge of flyover country. The electoral college allowed those forgotten to rise up and overturn the tables. I say damn good for them. The election was not racist. It was rural vs urban. People who were fed up that nobody gave a shit about them. Whoever does not learn the lesson of this election will be irrelevant for decades to come.

And "lock her up" is not misogyny. It is people who see a criminal getting away with crimes. If you keep seeing it this way you will continue to lose. Vitriolic personal attacks are losing their power as see them for what they are. Just another disingenuous tactic perpetuated by the disciples of Saul Alinsky, of whom both Obama and Clinton claim be be followers.

* RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

My point is that of the Democrats continue to blame everything on those "other people" and just vilify half of the country with personal attacks, your party will become a side show. I say exactly the same thing to Republicans.

Trump may turn out to be not the worst president we have ever had. Only time will tell. I certainly have low expectations.

Trump won because he was detested less than Hillary. There are a few voters who were supportive of one of the major party candidates, but most people voted more against than for.

I haven't said anything about disputing the election, and I haven't been complaining about the vote. Hillary ran a really really stupid campaign. She lost in the domain of PR and marketing herself.

I don't think elections are about much more. She could easily have won if she handled the campaign in a totally different way.

But what you don't seem to get is that this wasn't just a case of Republicans vs Democrats. It wasn't the same situation as Dubya.

You're still in denial about Trump, I think. What we saw, and what he's doing now.

It is NOT just a question of people "being different" or "thinking differently" than we do. Like, what do we do about the deficit.

I think the protests against him say it all. You didn't get that with Dubya. Unleashing a violent misogyny is not just "having a different opinion," for example.

As to us "calling them names" and "making personal attacks," that is laughable.

Ha ha

That is the pot calling the kettle black, and whining about it. His whole campaign was about just that.

You're protesting it now, but where were your protests when Trump ran his entire campaign on that premise? Nowhere.
