White Rabbit [closed for dragonrazor]

He grinned at her, and followed her to the buffet. He picked up a plate and started putting things on it. He picked sesame chicken, some sweet and sour chicken, beef pepper steak with rice and vegetables, and a couple of wontons. Then he smiled, and waited for her at the end of the buffet.

Despite being a rabbit, Kirrah picked up mostly chicken dishes. Noodles and rice followed a generous helping of stir-fried vegetables. She joined Ken, then pointed out the soda fountain behind him. She poured herself a highly caffienated drink and winked. "Need something to keep our energy, huh?"

He grinned again, and squeezed her arse gently, before flling a big cup with cream soda. Then he followed her back to the table. "Of course. We have a long night ahead of us, right?"

"Oh, yeah." She winked at a teen who had been listening to them, grinning at his wide-eyed stare.

She sat at the table and tried to use the chopsticks the restaurant provided. As graceful as she could be on the dancefloor, she was clumsy with manipulating chopsticks around. Sighing, she opted for a fork.

He grinned, and shook his head. "I've always hated chocpsticks. I can't use them. Don't have the dexterity." He picked up a fork and a spoon, and started eating quietly, watching her while he did so.

"Apparently, I don't have the dexterity either," she said, shaking her head. As she ate, she noticed him staring. "Hmm?"

He smiled, and shrugged. "Nothing. Just admiring your beauty." He went back to eating, the smile still on his face.

Eyes wide, she could feel herself blushing yet again. This one was visible through her fur, she was sure of. That wasn't something she was used to hearing. She mumbled, "Thank you," concentrating on her plate.

He finished off one dish, and switched to the next one. He took a sip from his soda, then smiled at her again. "So what else do you do for fun?"

"Hmm, me?" She took a drink as she thought. "Not a whole lot, actually. Hang out with friends, mostly, especially here and at the White Rabbit."

She smiled at him. "I'm betting you're more interesting than I am."

He laughed, and shook his head. "I doubt it. I spend most of my time playing video games, up until tonight."

"Ah. I'm not very good with video games. One of my friends though, he dropped out of school to feed his video game addiction." She paused, then added, "So you don't mind me pulling you away from your games for a night?"

He smiled, and reached over, gently stroking her fur. "You can drag me away from my games any time you want to."

She licked her lips, an innocent grin emerging. "Well...you know how rabbits can be..." she laughed. "Though we'll have to see just how insatiable I am, huh?"

He laughed again, and started eating his second dish. He was definitely enjoying her company.

She had finished her vegetables and noodles. She paused before starting on her chicken. "Where do you live? Is it far from here?"

He grinned teasingly. "Isn't that a bit bold? Wanting to see my apartment?" Then he sobered up, taking a drink of his soda. "It's not far. About five blocks. It's actually not an apartment. You remember the old Dynamite Rave club? I bought it after the owners went belly up. The club lost it's popularity with the previous owners in charge, so I just turned it into a big old house."

She made a face. "It was just a question." Then she grinned as well, eyes wide with wonder. "I remember the Dynamite Rave. I wondered what happened to it after it closed down. It must be amazing to live there..."

He smiled, and nodded. "It's a pretty hard place to keep clean at times, but it works well. I use the lower section for general use, garage, and such, and the upper section serves as my bedroom and such. Nice and quiet, and I don't have to worry about bright lights,"

"Wow," she said. "I've only got a tiny one-bedroom apartment...which I can barely afford anyways..." she shook her head and chuckled. Then, noticing they were both about finished with their food, she asked, "Do you want to stick around for dessert...?"

He smiled. "What do you suggest for dessert. If you prefer, I have ice cream at home. Cream Soda floats?" He was a bit thoughtful at her comment about barely affording her apartment.

He nodded. "Unless you want to get some takehome. I'm sure we'll be hungry later."
