Gay power (it's gay pride)
Women power (it's Feminism)
Native power (it's Native people's rights)
Indigenous power (same as above)

None of the above have systemic power in our current system in the USA or have a history or systemic racism and racist institutions set up from the founding of our country to today.

The only groups who have that power are those who stand behind the phrase "white power".

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being prideful and proud of being white. I am white(progressively liberal on social and race issues, much more conservative on economic issues) and I'm proud of who I am and my cultural heritage. I was born here so I have no control over many many things...and I get that I benefit from being white even when I do nothing to promote that benefit.

Being proud of the phrase "white power" is akin to being proud of the Confederate flag. It lumps you in with the racists who use these slogans and banners to their cause.

Also, it's not illegal be a racist or have racist views. It is illegal to act on your racism and racist views. You will go to jail for hate crimes. You life will be ruined economically. If you doubt it, go ahead a try it!
