....I was thinking of an idea where a man makes a racist remark to his wife (that he wouldn't sleep with black women), who then gets upset and urges him to fuck a black girlfriend of hers, in order to discourage him from thinking poorly of blacks. He starts to enjoy this, even though this was supposed to be a one-time only thing. His wife finds it a bit of a turn-on, plus she is worried that the other woman, her friend, who has done her this favor, will be hurt and upset if he just drops her. The other woman is rather attached to her friend's husband, whom she already found friendly and attractive, in spite of occasional comments like that. So, they propose that he simply keep her as a lover, although he is still otherwise bound by his wedding vows.....i.e. no other mistresses....

Another twist on the whole interracial thing that I have actually written a version of, but want to revise, is where a previously exclusive engaged couple both admit to interracial fantasies and decide to open their relationship up to the groups in question: black men for her (yes, cliche, but understandable from her character's POV) and Hispanic women for him. She takes 2 black boyfriends and he has 2 Hispanic paramours after a short time. They don't end up expanding beyond those 4, for reasons that become clear in the story.

None of these stories are intended to be racist, just twists on the usual "white woman, black man" stories that feature black men with huge cocks, tiny wives, and even tinier wimp husbands. Doing something original, you might say.

I think the story idea is great. The first story sounds like a much better idea than the second if you ask me. Now on the racist part in my opinion interacial stories are by nature racist.

Being racist doesn't mean you look down on other races. It means that you see the individual races as being different. Once again this is how I view things so I could be wrong. I don't view interacial stories as negative but the entire focus of the story is that the main charachters are of different races.

I don't think it is racist and that you have a good story line here. A good twist, in my opinion, is to put the wife having sex with a black man behind her racist husband's back. Who knows, it might even turn him on?

I understand that theme. However, I prefer the older version. Here's why: wife thinks that his remark about not sleeping with black women is very offensive, so she wants to change his mind about the idea of black women being unattractive. Also, her cheating on him is not likely to have a mind-opening effect, unlike a sanctioned tryst with a girl of exactly the same type that he claims not to find attractive. Basically, the wife wants to see if she is right, that he is protesting too much. Then, of course, he likes it a lot more than even she expected, but she doesn't want to be cruel to either party, especially since it was her own idea in the first place.

I like this idea very much. I'm always in favor of a good white male/black female story to balance out, as you say, the many cliche "big black man, slut white wife, wimp white husband" stories. It might also be angled in a way to show that the white husband is not a racist, while the white wife's oversensitivity to his innocent comment is a sign of her own unconscious racism. She, in turn, confronts it and overcomes it by having sex with the black girlfriend. Happy ending: an interracial bisexual threesome.
