In the aftermath of the Mar A Largo search there has been little mention of how TFG came to keep secret documents.
1 Was there no one in Trump Administration ensuring the safety of these documents?
2 Were they too afraid of TFG to get them back off of him.
3 Who packed up these documents and sent them to Florida.
4 Why has it taken so long to take action to recover them.
5 Were the Security Services ignoring his notoriously mismanagement of secret documents.
There needs to be a full enquiry into this and it should be done quickly, because no foreign country is going to trust the US with it's secrets if they can be mishandled like this.

if i remember rightly, Schiff and Carolyn Maloney are calling for a complete oversight investigation of just this kind of stuff... hang on, i'll look for a link:

here: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...pc=U531&cvid=27d64f987bd242dbcf446587185e55cb

Schiff and Rep. Carolyn Maloney, head of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, requested Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines conduct a briefing and damage assessment, which he said is routine when there has been a disclosure of classified information.

"What is, to me, most disturbing here is the degree to which at least from the public reporting, it appears to be willful, on the president's part, the keeping of these documents after the government was requesting them back," he said. "And that adds another layer of concern."

The U.S. bureaucracy wasn't set up to deal with the level of open criminality that Trump has dealt them. What Trump did/is doing is just too far out of the recognized bounds of government at work for physical restraints to kick in. We're just lucky that the military didn't go with him enough for him to have been able to physically stay in place. This is all new, dangerous ground brought to you by the Republican Party.

Excellent questions and excellent point. Full transparency is required to restore trust in US government institutions both at home and abroad.

No one's trusted us in decades

#4 is my immediate sticking point....a year and a half later? Not long before mid terms? Seems more hail Mary than substance.
As for the first points every President walked out with things, were any of them inventoried, double checked? Most likely not which is wrong, but seeing this is personal nothing is likely to change.

Yes, and if by some bizarro means he gets elected I fear that would be the end of our democracy.

The US' allies were already wary about sharing intel with the Trump administration. Remember when he completely blew a Middle East intel operation to the Russians? The Israelis were pissed.
