Look at how unglued Trump is acting, although I'd imagine one could make the argument he has always been unglued & it's just now we're really seeing it.
 
his shouting treason, calling duly elected officials 'savages', his outright lies, outbursts, deflections, and entirely unpresidential conduct (fill a moat with crocs and snakes, shoot 'em in the legs--the 'illegal immigrants', that is, not the crocs and snakes) seem to be leading to one thing: he's going to get so undeniably unfit for office, even the cowardly republicans not calling him out yet will have had enough and look to pence to take over the reigns.

So Schiff coordinated w/whistle-blower from the start. And Blasey-Ford ran to Democrat partisan lawyers/reps in Kavanaugh. And those who said, maybe politics is at play, get dismissed as Trump sycophants. Come on.
 
Back in reality, the WH heard about the whistleblower well before Schiff told them they needed to go through the proper channels and tried to squash it.

Perilous times for Trump: By 45%-38%, Americans support impeaching him over Ukraine allegations, poll finds

Americans by a 45%-38% plurality now support a vote by the House of Representatives to impeach President Trump, a USA TODAY/Ipsos Poll finds, as allegations continue to swirl around an embattled White House.

By a similar margin, 44%-35%, those surveyed say the Senate, which would then be charged with holding a trial of the president, should convict Trump and remove him from office.

Americans have long been wary of impeachment. A USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll taken in June – months before the formal impeachment inquiry was launched last week – found opponents outweighing supporters by nearly 2-1, 61%-32%.

The question of impeachment opens a huge partisan divide. Among Democrats, 74% in the new USA TODAY/Ipsos poll support impeachment; just 17% of Republicans agree. Independents are split down the middle, 37%-37%.

Even among Republicans, however, 30% say the president asking Ukraine to look into the behavior of former vice president Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, would be an abuse of power. And 80% of Republicans – a higher number than among Democrats or independents – say the president is subject to all laws, just like any other citizen.

Those numbers are higher for Republicans than I would expect them to be right now. Overall, that is a huge swing.

1. PLEASE learn how to link to support your statements. We have no idea WHEN the WH learned of the complaint based on what you typed here.

2. From there; It appears that the WH learned of the complaint AFTER it was filed since they learned about it as the "complaint was moving through a process..." Which infers that the complaint was already filed when the WH found out about it.

Which totally blows your (and aglo's) belief that they knew beforehand completely out of the water.

The officer first shared information about potential abuse of power and a White House cover-up with the C.I.A.’s top lawyer through an anonymous process, some of the people said. The lawyer shared the officer’s concerns with White House and Justice Department officials, following policy.

What’s important to recognize, though, is that this report overlaps with another Times report from last week. Then, the paper reported outreach by the whistleblower that predates the contact with the intelligence committee staffer: The whistleblower first anonymously contacted the top lawyer in the CIA. It was only after the whistleblower became “concerned about how that initial avenue for airing his allegations through the CIA was unfolding,” the Times writes, that the person contacted committee staffer

The whistleblower first reported his charges to the CIA General Counsel ... whose response was to run to the White House Counsel's office and Justice with the news. So the White House definitely knew prior to Schiff.

When did this happen? Presumably sometime between the date of the phone call and August 12, the date of the letter to Burr/Schiff.

Lol, love the spin.

From what I've learned this am, the rules and procedures require the CIA to notify the WH counsel.

You know what we call it when people do what they're supposed to do? FOLLOWING THE LAW.

But, don't let that stop you from spinning this as nastily as you can; you need all the political narrative points and help you can get.
 
And now we know that Pence knew as well. Not only knew, but personally applied pressure in Ukraine.

From a September 23rd article Pence explains why the funds were being withheld.

Pence had a top aide on the call and Pence was briefed on the call after it happened and then again before traveling to Warsaw to meet with Zelensky.
