How many of you enjoy your job? Look forward to getting up and getting there?

Finding yourself whistling while you're getting ready?

Tell me.

I can't whistle.

My version of whistling is shameful. :(

And no, I'm not a whistle while you work type. I get up, usually, just in time to jump in the shower, wash the hair, brush it, put it up in a bun of sorts, brush the teeh, throw on clothes, put on my trusty slip on shoes as I grab my smokes and keys and out I run. It's the norm, not an exception for me to be about 2 minutes late in the morning.

I never could whistle either. I always thought it would be something I'd grow into, but I still whistle the same as I did when I was 8.

On some days, when I only have to deal with good people, I genuinely enjoy my job.

Other times its a never ending source of frustration and rage.

Good cafeteria though.

I have had jobs I did't hate. Nothing has ever been a genuine joy to go to though.

Ok, that was odd!

I was singing to myself, "Hi ho, hi ho, It's off to bed I go" because I was going to post it on the blurt thread, and what do I see at the top of the thread list when I return to the GB....this thread! I know it's kinda stupid, but it just struck me as funny as hell!

I can whistle, but the only time I do is when I'm talking to my bird.

Other than that, if I'm at work and if I like the job or not, I will sing songs that are stuck in my head. Sing or hum, but I think I have a good voice, and no one complains, lol.

I can't whistle either...never have been able to...hubby likes to whistle in front of me just to piss me off!

My job is being a stay at home mom and with a 2yearold girl and a 3 year old boy, you never know what kind of day it's going to be! It's very rewarding and I'm glad I can do it, but sometimes a mom needs adult conversation!!! Thank God for Lit!:D

I'll have to critique you sometime.;)

Sure if you would like. But I don't sing opera or something like that. Heh, I sing alternative stuff. :)

Love my work.
Can't wait to get here to my office each day.
whistling? sure.

Give me 5.50 an hour, a chair, and permission not to wear some jackass uniform and I'll whistle my goddamn head off.

Hey...didn't I see you on American Idol??:D

It wouldn't matter what you sang, Ro...it's the person singing that makes it special.

I'm working on a project sor some company and the close it gets to the end the more i'm beginning to dislike it. The company i'm working for is ok, but i cant wait untill this project is done.

How long has this project been going on?

Maybe you're bored with it.

Me, I do. I love to wonder what problems I'll have to solve today. What new software and hardware is out there.

I really AM a geek of the highest order. Sure, I have bad days where I just want to kill the clients but that's a part you have to accept.
