Holy moly! I'm blown away. Not only did I get a birthday thread (started by someone I'm not too familiar with!), I got a troll on it!
Thanks so much everyone. My birthday was busy--I had twenty people for dinner (eight at the big table and three satelite coffee tables). However, the week prior Whisperhubby took me on a surprise date, which turned out to be a Paul Simon concert. AWESOME. I got an adorable teapot (for my collection), a kitchen blow torch for making creme brulee (my favorite dessert), Little Mermaid Pinball for the gameboy (yes, I wanted that!), the Manhattan Transfer Christmas Album (cool), the new Sarah Brightman album, and cash which will go toward one of those cool PDAs.
The down side was that my dad forgot it was my birthday. It's the second time in my life that it's happened, and it hurts much less this time. (It's strange because he was there on Thanksgiving...<scratches her head>) Oh, well, that's Dad.
Again, thanks so much everyone. It was awesome to get a birthday thread!

LOL, Oliver! Forget the cookies! I'm waiting for the scanned dickprint.
Aside: I'm planning on trying to sell "The Artifact," friends, so if all goes well y'all will have to pay for it. But most of you knew I'm serious about my writing anyway. Heh heh. I will try to write up a SHORT vignette to post here to try to make up for the fact that I'm being greedy about "Artifact."
Laurel, I'll sign the papers again and send them tomorrow. Also, I've been working on another WRiter's Resources essay on naming characters. I'll send it straightaway when it's done.

Just read the thread and want to wish you a belated Happy
Birthday. Hope you had a good one and I know of some good electricians that can replace that chandelier. I understand that it was a beautiful half gainer.
