While on Lit, I also...

It's well known that some of the more major slackers among us-me for instance-spend time while at work arseing about on Lit.

Anyway, I've just read and posted on the homosexuality - an abomination thread and been giggling like a fool throughout. Nothing wrong with that, except I'm at a client's (and no, my work really doesn't suffer. I make sure of that) and they wonder what's so funny.

I also love to read threads and post while on the phone to really boring clients. It makes me seem as if I'm actually working and looking stuff up for them.

So I was wondering. What do YOU like to do while on Lit, and more to the point what SHOULD you be doing?

(waiting for the "I masturbate a lot..." replies  )

[edited for the fact an em dash isn't parsed too well...]

I take it "Lit" means Literotica. You seem to be taking it slightly more seriously than others. I suggest a break.

While here, I'm usually working on some sort of customer order or tending to the "wifely" duties at home. I tend to leave this open while I'm at home and when I feel a spurt of restless energy I'll post several times and then go back to "work". There's almost always some sort of background noise - ususally music.

I don't chat from work, I couldn't.

Riles, judging by your other thread, you also spend time, or more accuratley waste time writing what you think is sexy poetry.

I'm not trying to be rude.

Poetry? Our definitions of sexy AND poetry obviously differ. I assume you are referring to my thread. Bad form to bring it up in this one, by the way.

Sorry you didn't like it, but then again...it wasn't written for you.

What's the link? I like poetry and I like sex. I have a feeling I might like it :D

That's the thing, it's not poetry, it's a thread I made. I guess it would be more accurate to call it a descriptive passage. It's under "Wish you were here"

I don't mean to hijack, but since we're on the topic...what sort of poetry? Any published or just from adoring friends?

Hijacking is preferable to...

Anyway. No, I've never had a poem writen for me that has been published. But Pixie has written a few for me.

Thinking about it, they're on this site. that's published, isn't it?

Wow, COOL!

There ya go! But I was actually talking about preferred published authors. Who do you find yourself turning to in moments of introspection?

Aaaahhh.

Well it's one of those things that is totally dependant on my mood. I might be in an A. A. Milne mood or an Edgar Alan Poe mood. Who can ever tell.

but my favourite poem of all time is "High Flight"

If I had a comp that I could go online with at work, I'd be in trouble... I mainly just chat with friends on IM, and attempt to do some writing. Never really works out tho.

What DO I do? I update websites, write, edit, go to my online classes, research various expressions of spirituality, chat with a large group of friends on that subject, attend to various real life things that need my attention on a regular basis while playing on Lit, read news articles that are sent to me, clean out junk mail from my email, and listen to lots of music too.

I always do what I SHOULD do...not so exciting at times...then there are the other times when it isn't!

Calypso, may I just say how enchanting you look. With proper, professional make up application you would be most ravishing. I do also like women without make up too, but they sometimes look like they don't make the effort to appeal to men.

What I also do while I'm at Lit? Eat breakfast or dinner, talk on the phone, talk to a friend in ICQ or in PMs, flip through catalogs, do my grocery shopping list, etc. Sometimes 3 or 4 of those things all at the same time. :)

What should I be doing? See the same list above. I never post from work, I couldn't even if I wanted to.

Why thank you Elitist. I wish that your words would be as nice to everyone that deserves them.
