While my man is away… hypothetically

Just wondering about this… is it cheating if I were to find a lady friend to have pleasure with me while my husband is away? And would I find someone willing and available, who doesn’t need me to commit to anything??? I don’t have any experience with a woman, and have not been in the dating scene for over 20 years so I don’t have a clue how to start- help!!

I think it is cheating if you do it behind his back and without his approval. My wife was free to do whatever she wanted, but only if she told me about it. She did all of her cheating in college, so she knew the diffference between cheating and an open relationship

I’m the last person to judge. I’m the last person you should take advice from. Here goes though…

if you don’t tel him…it’s cheating. I don’t see a way around that...IF you don’t tell. Now if you talk to the hubs and tell him what you’re fantasizing about, then you can gauge his approval/disapproval, you might not have to worry about it.

I haven’t dated in over 30yrs so I feel your pain, but I can relate that I have plenty of friends who‘ve jumped back in and things have changed a tad since you and I have played the field.

Oh…that someone who is willing, available, and doesn’t need to commit…that’s called a Unicorn. If you find her, capture her, take care of her, and deliver her to your local place of science so she can be studied…

@gtnlynn thanks the feedback, was her telling you after the fact Ok? I’m not sure how to bring it up with hubby and I might find I’m not actually sexually attracted to another, so I’d like to be able to experiment just a little before having to ask him to consider it
