Just wondering which of the main religions is the most sexually liberated?
Let's try to make this a discussion and no religious bashing please!

Considering most of the "main religions" at least in the western world are abrahamic, you might have to look to not so main ones.

Edit: I'm thinking hindu. They did invent the kama sutra after all. The religion still does not support sex outside of marriage though. Bad karma. And women are still expected to be subservient and such.

Perhaps Wicca.

I would have to think the liberal Christian sects that openly support gay marriage (Lutheran Evangelical, United and Presbyterian etc.).

The eastern traditions try to get one to abstain from excessive pleasures. And are a bit more ambiguous than the Abrahamic faiths on homosexuality. The Kama Sutra is only partly about sex positions. And is not a religious text but a traditions text, more philosophical.

Which is the big question. To be gay friendly is about as sexually free as a mainstream religion is going to get. Unless there is one that allows polygamy and polyandry too. Polygamy gets a bad rep from 45-55 year old church elders marrying wives far too young. Live with and have sex with two or three women, your age group. As long as you don't marry them, you are the luckiest man alive in your parts. Marry them and you become a federal fugitive. Haven't heard of too many rogue polyandists being arrested for sexually exploiting young husbands.

Neo-pagans probably constitute the most sexually free of any of the other main spirituality groups.

Atheism is a Theism. Atheist, Monotheist or Polytheist? Should I suppose be included. That would make it by most definitions the most sexually free, I guess.

Judaism. A women's right to sexual satisfaction is written into the marriage contract.

Universal Unitarians don't give a damn who screws whom, where or when. If you want to get laid, that's the church for you.

a·the·ist [ˈāTHēəst]
NOUN
1.a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods:
"he is a committed atheist"
synonyms: nonbeliever · disbeliever · unbeliever · skeptic · doubter ·
doubting Thomas · agnostic · nihilist

It means 'no God'. Not 'not religious'.

Atheist-No God
Monotheist-One God
Polytheist-Many Gods

Atheism is a believe system and takes a stand on the question of Bogs existence. It should stand with the those who have different answers to the same question.
