Which nut...

Nope. Very right handed. Not even slightly left handed. Another one of those weird things about me, I guess. *shrugs*

Legumes are plants that have pods with tidy rows of seeds inside. This category includes beans, peas, lentils, and peanuts. Peanuts are also called goobers or goober peas.

That's what I said, beans and peas. Lentils are close enough.

Strange. You act so...lefty.

And, I say that in a good way, because I'm a lefty. Yep, always have been and always will be. Just don't see a righty acting like a lefty every day.

You sure you weren't forced to change dominant hands back when you were a kid? You know, back when left was bad and evil and you would rot in hell if you associated with anything of the left?

You know, certain calamities in life can be suppressed by the subconscious, only to come out later in life. Sometimes, much later.

Um, I don't think so. For one thing their aren't any lefties in my family, I think. For another that happened to my step dad and he's always been adamant that that never happen to either me or my sisters. And he and my mom have been together since I was 4, so . . . On the other hand, my daughter is ambidextrous. She writes with her right hand, but throws with her left. Who knows? Maybe I was ambidextrous like her.

do you like best in a jar of mixed nuts? :)
Actually, when it comes to nuts, I don't care for them. Oh, I'm changing, in my old age, but still don't have the same thrill about them as others seem to.

This upcoming time of year is a bad time for the non-nut lovers. It seems EVERYTHING has some form of nuts in it, these days. Shit, even the green beans have almond slivers in them, but thank God, I can pick them out. Who would have ever thought that almonds and green beans went together? Stupid idea!

But, like I said, my tastes do seem to be changing, in my latter years of life. I've grown a taste for peanuts (yes, we've already covered that, I know they aren't a nut), but only in some situations.

I only like salted peanuts, Snickers candy bars, or maybe chocolate covered peanuts, like peanut clusters. I won't eat anything that has peanuts in them, otherwise. Call me strange, but that's just me.

Almonds...only in Hersheys with almonds or Almond Joy. Oh, and the occasional Almond Kiss, but I don't yet have the taste for them, so much.

Well, that's about it. No nuts in ANYTHING else, and I'll be happy. But, like I said, at this time of year, we see nuts of all kinds in everything. On top of cookies we see pecans or walnuts, and in the fruit salad, what do we see? More almonds or maybe that was ground up cashews? Yuck!

My favorite cookie is chocolate chip. Your basic chocolate chip, and nothing fancy. Why does someone always have to think they are making a classic better by adding some stupid fucking nut on top or maybe instead of the chocolate chips?

And, another way to ruin chocolate chip cookies? Using M&Ms, either plain or peanut in place of the regular chips. Leave well enough alone, people! PLEASE!

I hate most nuts so much that I get chills to the point of goose bumps just thinking about it. Pecans have the most disgusting taste of all, but cashews and walnuts are very close.

I classify nuts right along with cigarettes. I tried them, but I just can't see what all of the fuss is about.

I was (and am) the black sheep of the family, in more ways than one. This is one way. I am the only one who doesn't care for nuts. I remember evenings when my dad would be sitting in front of the TV breaking open and eating pecans. Obviously, he enjoyed them, and that's fine, but why don't I? And, the rest of the family was about the same as my dad. Maybe I was dropped as a baby?

So, nuts and I don't get along. And, I'm a purist when it comes to a lot of things. If it's been around as long as I can remember, leave it the fuck alone, already! Nuts won't make it better...trust me!

Sorry. The joke only works if you answer "cashew."

There are people who don't like nuts. My sister among them. I on the other hand can't have nuts. They're to fibrous, and therefor to hard on my ulcers.

You understand her perfectly? I have no problem understanding her, it's the method of her madness that intriged me. That's all. yours isn't far behind. Are you maybe left handed?

Guilty as charged! :p

And, as for me looking nervous, whatever gave you that idea? I'm way too far along in life to get nervous. Actually, I was wondering which of my electrical toys serves up the best jolt.

er, a vibrator works just fine thanks.. and not that fancy TENS one..

Maybe you could tell me. Do I need a converter for the electricity in Canada? :D

Er, no..

I've reposted both again, in case you want to change your answer. Notice I said JOLT not BUZZ.

Of course, both words are relative, depending on your point of view. Jolt could simply mean a sudden change of direction, and buzz could reference a sound heard when watching Wheel of Fortune.

But, trust me, I mean neither. Buzz in terms related to a vibrator is not near what I was thinking of, so maybe, just maybe you misunderstood my intentions.

Just in case you did, when I use the word jolt, I was not meaning so much to say "jolt of electricity" (although that works, too) but meaning to say "jolt of consciousness" or "jolt of reality". That "jolt" of control, if you will. :)

But, I always like to leave an impression, and a lasting one, when possible. So, your understanding of what I said was OK, too.

So, in short, whatever works.

And, being left-handed...did you get to see my left hander's thread, by chance?

When there's a possible quest, we do what we do. I must have nourishment, my dear!

Your leg humping got me started. Now I can't stop.
