https://forum.literotica.com/threads/could-anyone-make-of-story-out-of-this.1640790 reminded me that for some movies, I'm getting close -- well, not that close, but I reckon Ive seen one or two movies more than 100 times.

When I was kid, I saw 2001 - A Space Odyssey at the cinima (Cinerama) 8 times in the year it came out.

Marx Brothers - Night at the Opera (I've watched it at least twice a year since I was a kid, and many times with my kids)

It Happened One Night

And Ive already seen Dune about 20 times, and Back To The Future even more than that.

In fact, nearly every movie Ive really enjoyed, I'll watch at least ten times.

And don't get me started on the number of times I've re-read certain books!

A lot more that I can't think of at the moment.

So... I binge these (and most sequels) basically every year for My birthday, my anniversary, my husband's birthday, Halloween, and/or when I'm sick. And have for the better part of a decade or since they came out/I first watched them.

20 times for Dune? I assume that's the Villeneuve version, not the Lynch version? That's still far more times than I've seen any movie that I can recall.

Number 1 for me probably would be a movie I saw as a kid a few times and then saw again when I had kids. Maybe Star Wars.

The Godfather, possibly, though not from start to finish. It's on TV a lot, and I always get engrossed in it whenever it's on.

Another one: perhaps The Wizard of Oz. I know I've seen that quite a few times.

I probably have dozens of movies I have watched dozens of times, but I have no idea which I have seen the most.

My first thought for number one is wizard of oz, especially if you count watching it while listening to dark side. It could be aeither of the first two starwars movies or It's a Wonderful Life or To Catch a Thief or ... Or if you count having a movie on in the background while I work, it might be Sahara (the recent one with Matthew McConaughey) because it is mindless and on TV all the time.

First off I'm a dude.

My feminine side of my brain:
Untamed Heart
Some Kind of Wonderful
Family Man
She's All That

My questionable side of my brain:
A Few Good Men
Hunt For Red October
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
(shhhh) Rocky Horror Picture Show

I'm positive there are many more......

Used to be a thing to watch it when it aired on TV once a year on some holiday. That was decades ago.

That and 'It's A Wonderful Life', which may be the only two I've seen more than the 4-5 times mentioned above.

Rocky Horror is over 30 watchings (Halloweens from 18+, skipping a few, plus random others)
Star Wars: A New Hope
Various Mel Brooks films are over a dozen viewings, each. Blazing Saddles probably in the lead - local TV likes replaying that one for some reason
George Romero zombie movies
The Matrix
I dunno, many more options but my frain is brying.

I assume that's the Villeneuve version
👍🏼

I think the universe is split between bingers and non-bingers. I'm married to a non-binger, but she has a memory like a sieve so re rewatches stuff with me until about 1/3 of the way through, and then says "We've seen this one."

Honestly, I'm uncertain of which I've seen more between Nightmare on elm St and Rocky Horror.

I've basically been watching both at least yearly since I was like 5.

That's not a movie ... But yes, I still watch that, too, lol. And tales from the crypt, and He-Man, Frakazoid, The Twilight Zone, etc.

I'm essentially a mix of horror and children's movies/TV shows with a sprinkling of action and comedy.

SciFi, fantasy, animated, action/adventure, and 'eclectic' (since I'm being polite to my delicate feelings.... ;) )

A few more I can think of, but I doubt I've watched them from start to finish more than half a dozen times. I doubt I've seen ANY movie from start to finish as many as ten times.

Rocky Horror Picture Show. I went to this several times in high school and college.

The Blob (Steve McQueen version). I was a big fan of old sci fi movies that I watched on Creature Feature and similar TV shows. Also the giant ant movie, Them. And the original The Thing. Godzilla (the original).

The closest thing I have to a holiday tradition movie is Die Hard, at Christmas. So that's probably up there.

I know a good chunk of the dialogue in Closer. That movie made me hate Jude Law. What a smug little shit! 😂

Ooh I love Donnie Darko too. I went as Donnie Darko for Halloween once. Carried a gray bunny with me named Frank. 😂
