Honestly, I don't know if by nature I am a Dom or a sub. I think I am a hedonist/sensualist, and whatever fuels that the best...... I sub to my husband for many reasons---mainly because our relationship goes so much better that way in every sense. But even in our D/s roles at home, it is more geared toward hedonism than anything else, and there's no sadism/masochism here except where it touches pain and works it way to pleasure. I love giving pleasure, and I love getting it. D/s just seems to be the way we do it together best. He is way too secure to need/want a title of "Sir" or to have to prove himself as "Master". He finds those titles to be ridiculous and indicative of insecurity. My submission seems to be enough. lol
