I happened upon this awesome picture when I was browsing through a folder of random files...

Does anybody know where on the planet this is? I want to add it to my "places to go when I'm filthy rich" list.

I'm not sure that really exists. But it does look pretty damn awesome :D

It's been photoshopped, I'm afraid. Cthulhu Mtn.! Dayum.

There are some abruptly fang-like mountains like that in Cappadocia and in China, and in New Zealand, too. Maybe elsewhere. But this particular image has been altered. The ones I list are limestone, not black basalt or whatever this mountain is, so they don't look the same. Just as vertical and spiffy, though.

Well if you can find some sugarcubes or little square pieces of paper, you may see this place for a few dollars for a few hours, but I must concur that it is a highly manipulated digial photo.

I thought it looked familiar. You'll find Unknown Kadath at the top of those mountains.

I wouldn't recommend visiting there, Liar. Humans don't come back from that place.

The universe is vast, and man puny. There are many things it were unwise for Man to know.

Nearest I could come were the Italian Dolomites and some of the mountains on New Zealand's South Island (as used in Lord of the Rings and Xena).
