Where's the Snow?

its on vacation right now.. and i dont mind waiting about 2 weeks for snow.. then me, and most everyone i know will be at home from school, so no one has to drive in the fun wintery weather (i hate it when i worry bout everyone else)

My son was just complaining about this last night. Though we don't get much snow around here he still thinks it should be snowing. You can take the boy out of Michigan but you can't take Michigan out of the boy! 
I miss the snow too, does it seem to you that every year there is less snow? I can remember being a kid and playing in the snow on Thanksgiving, it just seems that it starts much later these days.

what are you talking about estevie? there was so much snow last year.. over 3 feet for me at home (Chicago) i almost got stuck at school cuz it wouldnt quit snowing. it was really bad like that

I want snow too!
I think this warming trend we're having is depressing the heck out of me! It's already almost 60 degrees F, and according to the weather bug (at the bottom of my screen), it's forecasted to be even warmer on Wednesday, chance of showers on Thursday, but temps remaining in high 50s.
Now I'm not getting my hopes up or anything, but for Sunday it mentions a "chance of snow", with temps in high 30s! No wonder my sinuses are giving me a hard time!
I mean that BIG tree is already lit just blocks away from me! The poor baby looks like it won't last very long!

I'm in Vermont and this twilight zone of a December with no snow must come to an end. I demand ice and slush and sleet, its my right.
Of course last year started slowly also, then we got dumped on in March. Third snowiest month EVER!
