Gold deflation means a couple of things to me: The market exhausted its supply of fools willing to pay inflated prices, and plenty of people are gold poor and need cash.

Gold oughta sell for around $350 an ounce, if its price was pegged to inflation. Multiply 1960 prices by 10 to get todays inflated prices.

It's been a rough couple days to be an investor in the mining sector, my stocks have been getting spanked a bit. I don't own stock in companies that mine precious metals though (phosphorous FTW!) so it's not nearly as bad as it could be but I'm back to where I was at the beginning of the year on these things. At this point I'm hoping for these stocks to stay where there are until dividends pay out in a couple weeks.
