Will the next World War be fought in the Mideast; Korea; both places at the same time, etc??? What can we do to prevent it??

Golda Mier once said that wars will end only when our children become more important than our ideologies. What are your thoughts?

Hmmmmm

Blue by definition a WORLD war is a global conflict so it would be fought pretty much everywhere.

Maybe you meant where would it start?

You offered two pretty strong candidates. However, in most scenarios these would be regional conflicts with "global" players.

The most likelt scenario for a "world war" would be a conflict involving the US and China. Although geographicly even a conflict between them would limit itself to the Pacific Rim and the Euro-Asian landmass east of India in the south and the Caucasus to the north.

Large regional wars are far more likely than global war for the next 15-25 years.

You could be on to something here. I was thinking that Mexico and Canada are a more likely scenario. With the Dominican Republic backing Mexico and Jamaica throwing support to the Canadians. (they need a place for bobsled practice)

<shiver> Either way it's damn scary!

Didn't Argentina try the "they're too far away to do anything" ploy with England and the Falkland Islands?
