Pardon if I just flat out missed it but where does one post a story?
Doesn't have to be for a contest(or it could but not necessary), just the forum thread where stories are posted.

Thanks

Stories are submited to editors, aproved by Laural to post it on the homepage (must register to story section to submit story).
Go to "Author's Hangout" to get some help on a story format, then go to "Editor's Forum" to request an editor you'd like to work with (use PMs).

there is a link to literotica.com at the bottom right of the forum pages. From that main page, go to "Stories and Pics"

By the way, Tickled, you already have an "author's page" at Lit since you have a registered name. You do not need to register a name on both the bulletin board and the story-side of Lit like one claimed.

Click the link: TickledToDeath
And might I suggest that you edit your profile a bit more? It's helpful to your readers/fan base (once you have them) if you have some basics like your gender, perhaps your age group and marital/dating status, and some of your interests. (After all, if you write fetish stories, BDSM, or incest the readers probably will be curious whom the author is. :) )

It's true that the Editor's Forum board is helpful. It's best to ask one of the volunteer editors to help you finalize your writing before you submit it to the site. (After all, if you have grammatical errors, as example, the owners will reject the story.)

There are many wonderful people at Lit than can help you will all aspects of this web site and how it works. Welcome!

One tiny reminder/hint I have to offer you is this current board, Story Ideas, is used to literally brainstorm ideas for future stories of this web site. You can offer your own suggestions, ask for help developing your ideas a bit more, or simply throw your two cents into the ring on someone else's thread. :)

Good luck in your adventures here. Care to tell us more about yourself and your writing style?
