Where to Post?

This is my first time starting a thread so i hope it works and I hope this isn't a stupid question. I can't figure out if there are rules for where to post a topic. It seems to me like Darkroom and Personals, The Playground and even Author's Corner all cover similar territory and often overlap with the General Board. I don't want to get blasted for putting something in the wrong place. Can anyone provide any guidance? Thanks in advance.

the playground is probably the most benign. steer away from the general board if you're new. it's best to get the feel of the GB before jumping in.

if you're posting a fetish thread, well, try the appropriate forum; sam with BDSM, etc.

jump in and swim around. enjoy.

I didn't have anything specific but I see that they all have threads with porn pictures, all have threads about orgasms or office sex or requests for responses. If I wanted to share a sexual experience or a fantasy it seems like any of them could be used.
