'ello folks. I realize I usually don't drop in on this particular board, tend to hang out with the poets and all (if that means you're going for the pitchforks and torches I'd best start running now) but I do have a long standing quandry, and figured perhaps someone here might lend a hand with it.

I started a story series a couple of years ago here and well...I got stuck as to where to go with it. Having moved on to other things I let it sit, but I havn't forgotten it. So, on the off chance someone here has a bright idea (or six) I thought I'd see what suggestions come up from it.

Here's chapter one and chapter two and lastly, chapter three

Thanks for what'cha have to offer,

I like the series. The characters are sweet and even romantic and the sex is very tastefully done.

The interwoven poetry throughout is a nice touch. Charming; it also adds to the "ghostly" aspect of things. I love the disappearing message on the mirror and the magnets are a clever angle. (You could add computer to this, too, if you run out of places.)

I thought the first chapter was almost too brief, but your next chapters do increase in length. Personally I would have enjoyed reading about serious sex between Diane and Steve in the second (or the beginning of the third).

But perhaps that's just me; I like reading about sex. ;)

Your next logical step (at least for the stroke crowd) is to have Steve wake up and join the two girls. Or you could add that aspect gradually, especially if Diane wants to keep her female lover a secret for a time.

You can explore the Doug character at great length, bringing back more of Diane's past and the implications. (She runs into one of Doug's abusive friends in a bar, for example.)

I must say I am very curious about the ghostly aspect of the house. Who is it, why are they there and why do they want Diane? And will they eventually appear in the "flesh" to be with Diane? (or will they just continue to cause her to become a happy horny girl?) :D

Is the spirit there for evil purposes? (the suspicious me)

Is it a spirit mourning a long-lost love? (the sadly romantic me)

Is it Doug (and is he dead or just forgotten because he was a horrible person?)

There are many different ways you can go with this, all of them interesting.

I'm intrigued and looking forward to your next chapter!

Thanks for the words, Sweet! Glad you liked it.

Course, the questions of what the real deal is with the "ghost" is the very questions that have left me wondering where to go with this story. When I started the idea was just to mix some poetry with the fiction (Lit has a great sample of both, so I figured crossing the line shouldn't be too hard) and I didn't really think out the destination at the time. Oops.

Ah, but it's the journey that is so important, isn't it? ;)

Your "ghost" seems very benevolent, a bit omnipotent, and appears to want to aid the main character.

(Of course, that "help" seems to leave Diane insatiable with lust, but hey! That adds to the overall fun.)

I think the ghost character is developing all by itself. To add something a bit different in the next chapter I'd probably write the MFF sex (and then just wait to see what the spirit wants to add!)
