Where the fuck has this story vanished to?

OK, so I was adding to a story a few weeks ago, a pretty good story by my reckoning. I decided to update my signature to promote sotries I think are good, and thought I might add this story to the list. But when I tried to look for it, the story had vanished! No record in my threads or stories list on CHYOO, no bookmark (I always bookmark my fave stories), nothing.

I started panicking. Had I lost my marbles? I checked. No, they were still in my toy box. So what happened? I looked for the Literotica thread that first directed me to the story, and found it here. I clicked on the CHYOO link, here, and lo and behold, no story. Nothing! No record of any writers, creators and no text (though oddly enough, if you clik 'begin', you get every CHYOO introduction in existence as options). Would someone be kind enough to tell me where this story went before I get my nunchcks out?

I'd guess that the author withdrew it, deleting all the threads. Just a guess. E-mail Torg. See what he has to say.

The story exists and hasn't been deleted, but some snafu or improper operation of the web pages has caused the story to vanish. The enormous list of branches off the Introduction page is an indicator of this. I had this happen to The Mailroom Guy, and I had to reconstruct it from CHYOO.NET archives and my personal archive of my threads.

So, if the original author has copies of their threads, or the story got copied to chyoo,net, you've got a chance of recovering it.

Man, that's rubbish. Let's hope this kind of thing doesn't happen with CHYOO3.
