The one who loves me best of all (outside of my kids) is about 800 miles away. And yes, I miss him terribly.

Couldn't agree more.

My two daughters love me best of all (they are 6 and 7) and they are my world and my kingdom. My husband is also part of my kingdom and I wouldn't leave that kingdom for anyone or anything.

As for love which isn't that of undying and unconditional blood bonds, that is a bit more complicated and can be confused with lust and pure animal attraction.

Actually, I agree with Liar's statement. I would also leave my kingdom for anyone who'd welcome me. Because who knows, maybe that anyone will turn out to be the one who loves me the best? I'd never know if I don't give it a shot, right?

I guess it all comes down to what your particular kingdom is. There is no SO or children in mine, only friends and places, so it's built on much weaker foundation than many other's.

Two of the ones who love me best are living with their dad. I miss them so. Some of the ones who love me best are very close, others are scattered. If my kingdom is made up of my loved ones, then my kingdom itself is scattered. But I don't think my kingdom is really 'built' yet.

I've lost enough people in my life, that I try to make a point to let them know how I feel. I'm not really a mushy person, but I always make a point, for instance to not hang up on my mother without telling her that I love her.

Some of my other relationships... well, I'm working on it
