Starting at sundown Wed. 3/27........Passover will be here
once again!! For those of you folks who don't know what
the heck I'm talking about....Passover is a Jewish holiday
that celebrates the Jews escape from slavery in Egypt and
led to freedom.

Any Passover discussion....memories of family gatherings....

Well, my father is Jewish, and even though I don't consider myself any religion, I'm going to my cousin's Seder on Thursday in Maryland. I haven't been to one in at least 10 years. I pretty much forgot the meaning of everything- a co-worker had to fill me in.

Not me but my gf's part jewish if you can really call it that.

L'chaim.

Yep...but I'm not doing the big to-do that my brother in laws grandparents do which is all but aired nationally.

Going to a friend's for her Seder.

I have to out myself............I really want to get out of my research class.

I'm a bad Jew.

But I'm a good Jew too cause I feel extreme guilt.

Yeah, I actually edited to add that.

**still looking for the Afikoman!!**

Happy Passover, folks!

L' Chaim!!

:D

Last full day of Passover is Thursday 4/4!

I'm disappointed that this thread did not get as many
responses as the Easter ones........

till next year!

Sorry to hear that this this thread didn't get as many replies as you'd like. I actually had fun at my cousin's Seder, although I wasn't allowed to look for thee Afikoman- some bullshit about me being overage....

My niece kept thinking that Elijah was in the house to drink her grape juice, and was amazed when her glass *miraculously* was empty! Hey, we needed to entertain her.... her mom ended up with a bad stomachache.... she was cursing grapes for a while that night... no idea why.... :)

so I get to look for it :)

Heehee......grape juice......I remember that when I was a
tot......my mom would give me and my sister grape juice
when we had seder at my house......but at my grandma's
we had the grape wine, but diliuted  I remember
one year my sister got grape wine at my house when she
was little and nearly fell asleep at the table *giggle*!

The Jewish holiday Passover and the show you refer
to as "Passing Over" (It's actually called "Crossing Over
with John Edwards") are two totally different things.

I think you made a U turn this morning?!
