Where is smithpeter?

Has anyone heard from smithpeter in the past week? Haven't you noticed that there's almost always a smithpeter poem on the new poems list, but not lately?
I usually hear from sp every day, but he hasn't been in contact since the 19th. KatPurrs and daughter haven't heard from him either.

So, still no word? Drat. I haven't heard either. I'm getting worried now.

It is strange that he hasn't posted anything at all. I do however want to say, that there are many situations in which someone can seemingly vanish for a few days. After all it's been only 8 days: maybe of vacation, maybe his mother is sick, maybe , maybe.... don't assume the worst .......

I know many things can happen, sweetwood. But I do worry when someone is in touch with me every day, then suddenly I don't hear from him. I don't think it's a vacation. He usually emails me and tells me if he's only going out for the day. And if something happened with his computer at home, he still has the one at work.
Well, I just hope he reappears soon! This is definitely one disadvantage of a long distance friendship.

smithpeter has been in the hospital. I don't have much info. I was contacted by someone, and she didn't tell me what happened. All I know is that he'll get in touch as soon as he can.

sp sighting

The last time I saw smithpeter, he was being sucked into the whirling vortex of a really nasty rip in the space-time continuum. His left leg was all twisted around in loops and stretched out, about thirty feet long. Patches of bright pastel color were exploding all around him, and I could swear I heard the strains of Ravel's "Concerto for the Left Hand." He was holding on to a bus bench to try to keep from being pulled in completely. . . Then he disappeared into another dimension (right, with voyeuristic intention).


Seriously, I hope he's better.

Update

smithpeter is in intensive care. I spoke with him tonight, and he says that he's feeling better, but he's not sure how much longer he'll be in there. So it may be a while before he returns to the board. I let him know that all his friends here are concerned about him. I'll keep you posted as I learn more.

Yesterday, I tried to call smithpeter, but couldn't get through. It's tough to get through to ICU. And like a dope, I didn't lie and say that I was family! lol
I'm going to try again Monday. I really miss that odd poet.

July 1st Update

I just talked with smithpeter. He's doing a little better. He said he's now one level down from ICU. Today, he finally got out of bed after being in there for 9 days. He's sitting up in a chair and he's been able to walk around some. He said he could be in there another week or longer, though.
I told him that we are all concerned. He appreciates all his friends here.
