It's raining and the wind is howling here - you don't want to go outdoors. It's humid, too, and I've got such a bad headache from it. I wish I could go to sleep, wake tomorrow, and it would be summer. *frown*

I keep looking in but there is nothing to rock my boat. I could do with a little controversey to wind me up. My emotion is flatlining and I've no stimulation to write, even typing this is taking too much energy.

Outside its raining and cold and I'm overwhelmed by the daunting sense of being at the beginning of a long cold miserable winter.

to me, it is not a matter of sitting around waiting for someone to rock the boat. But there IS a synergy that happens, two people rocking the boat together make more than twice as many waves.

I have found that writing is often like tennis. I need someone to bounce things off of... and they return the serve with their own twist and inspiration can be recipricol. I cannot exist in a vacuum.

I know how to go off into the woods and be inspired. I know how to sit quietly with myself. I know how to do all of those things. BUT but but....

There is nothing like having someone to shine out some energy for me to reflect, or perhaps refract off into different angles, magnifing or reducing, maybe even inverting-- or someone to pass my energy through a diffraction grating, breaking it into rainbows that color my teeth as I lie on the grass and eat them whole.

And after swallowing a rainbow, I am much better able to send out some laser beams and see if I spark something in someone else.

I only swallow teeth in my nightmares. I have them quite often where my teeth keep falling out, for no reason, and I fing myself swallowing them inadvertantely. And spelling poorly too.

Anna, I saw Madonna in an interview once and she siad that she had nightmares of her teeth falling out. Is that not creepy? I have them too, but they just disappear and I cannot find them at all. I had a baby tooth till I was 39, isnt that weird and creepy too?

oh, WSO, it is almost 80 here today, so I worked in my poor leafy garden, saw 2 little frogs and a turkey buzzard flew over. Now it will probably snow tomorrow

do you think i have nothing better to do
than to write poetry all day and night?
the sun caresses my skin
colouring my world
in hues of summer
warmth, and minds uncurtailed
allow lusty imaginings
on white sand beaches
where blue waves massage
the land and poetry resides
in every breath i take.

rain, sleet and snow
are foreign thoughts
to one sitting in sunshine
though the sky was brushed
