Hey,
did everybody (USA) eat too much turkey? It seems that the forums have been pretty dead as of the last week. I just wanted to post something new.

How was everybody's holiday?

Dacia, when is Thanksgiving down under?

I know Canada has theirs in October, because that's where I am from. When does the UK celebrate?

I hope everybody did their fair share of gobbling.

There's not really a thanksgiving in Britain. We have a harvest festival, where people bring in food to their school or church to be dished out to devloping countries and the local community, and there is usually a harvest assembly/service, but there is no meal, no celebration, and, frankly, no one really cares about it.

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving, and a happy thanksgiving to all that it applies to.

Out of interest, niceguytim2002, do you celebrate thanksgiving on the Canadian date or the US date?

That's a good question. Last year during the Canadian Thanksgiving I was in Ohio, USA. Then during the US thanksgiving I was in Canada. So... I missed both. However, this year I was actually able to celebrate both thanksgivings! So that's how it goes. Lots of turkey for me this year.

Well, you have Guy Fawkes Day instead of Thanksgiving, eh? Explosives are far more exciting.

Damn right we do. I almost got blown up this year too. Seems that fireworks are supposed to leave the ground before they explode...

Thing is though, you guys in the States get the 4th of July which is really equivalent to bonfire night, so not only do you get thanksgiving, but you get to play with explosives as well!
