Where Does One Jump In Here?

A small introduction:

I'm a longtime lurker/story reader here, and I decided to test things out and begin posting. I began my posting activity on the "Dark Side," and while it can be interesting, it also becomes quite boring, quite quickly.

So, I decided that I'd wander on over here, and see how things are on this side of the razor wire fence.

I'm a forty-six year old, married, very bored woman living, well, up there somewhere. I am employed, gainfully, in the computer industry. I'm a redhead, of the natural variety. And while gravity is beginning to make its ugly presence known, I'm not looking too awfully bad for my age. So, while I'm working on enough posts to be able to put up a really catchy avatar, I'm going to browse the threads here, and see what interesting things I can find.

If anyone has any suggestions for interesting places to visit, I'd appreciate it.

If you like word play almost any of the word games are good.....there are a few number ones: (perfect squares, odd numbers, even numbers)...then there is "the what you are wearing" thread that's always fun to read and post on.

It's interesting, but it gets old very quickly. Flaming the crap out of everyone loses its appeal quite rapidly.

Yes, well. You know, conservative company, all business, etc. I don't know why it's such an issue, since the only people who ever see me are other geeks and the servers. The other geeks get more hot and bothered by their computers than they would by a half naked woman.
