Where do you sleep as a pyl? Where do You have Your pyls sleep?

Some people sleep in bed with their PYL, others sleep on a mat on the floor, some sleep in the same room, some sleep in a different room, and some sleep in a cage. Some pyls are chained to the wall or bed, some sleep with their collars on, some sleep completely naked with nothing on. Some sleep in the bed but at the foot of the bed. Some sleep in bed but then are sent to sleep on the floor when they haven't been good.

i will sleep in the bed when i am with Sir. He likes physical touch. What about you?

I've been threatened with being made to sleep on the floor, but I'm not sure if he'll do it or not.

I got a bit snippy when he said he'd make me sleep on the floor and said I'm not paying for a room if I'm sleeping on the floor.

I'm sorry, o/t I know, but I just had to laugh at this. I have several cats and a few dogs (I do animal rescue) and sometimes I feel lucky to even have a small corner of the bed itself.

Well I don't have a RL PYL but honey, it's hard enough for me to sleep in my yummy bed. When I don't sleep I get jumpy and on edge. I drop things, lock myself out of the house, and forget things. It tends to get expensive and frustrating. Then there are the muscle cramps I tend to get from lack of sleep.

In other words, ya gonna want me to fucking sleep, yo. LOL!

I need my cat to sleep well. I need my bed, my cat, a bottle of water, some lip gloss, a watch and a good book to sleep well.

Wow, that sounds like a lot doesn't it?

I guess like the others, there are two sides to this answer. I'm 41 and have arthritis from lupus, which I have little problem with as long as I'm comfortable and it doesn't affect play. If someone tries to make me sleep anywhere other than a bed, I don't think he's the Dom for me.

i will be sleeping in bed with Sir but the idea of sleeping on the floor or a mat definately interests me as a sub...eventually slave. The same goes for kneeling on the floor. i wanted to be more submissive so i asked Sir if i could kneel for Him when i speak to Him on the computer. He said yes, i sometimes wonder why i asked because it can be painful but at the same time i get a lot of pleasure out of it. i feel so submissive in that position. i think the same would go for sleeping on the floor versus the bed. i would much rather sleep in the bed for comfort but sleeping on the floor gives me a different kind of pleasure.

i too am in an LD Relationship but when we are together Master lets me sleep with Him. He says He would have it no other way..He likes holding me in His arms too much to make me sleep anywhere other than the bed. He's also said He will not punish me by making NOT sleep in His bed because it would also be punishing Him (i like the way He thinks because i'm not sure i could sleep with Him on the bed and me on the floor, i need to be held when He's around, that's how i feel safe)

While I am aware some practitioners of BDSM keep cages and I can think of one X Board Member who had a photograph of such in their bedroom, I like to think the possible practise of actually sleeping in one is more the stuff of Urban BDSM legend.

I recall some conversations in regards to 'Gor' that certain levels of kajira were caged or 'kenneled' . I have been assured that this practise has taken place in hard core 'Gor Camps'. Even though the source was someone I consider reliable , I cannot get a head space around the concept. Urban BDSM Legend again ? Who knows.

Yes of course there will be someone out there who confesses this is a part of their 'lifestyle' . As far as 'are chained to the wall or bed' I can see this as far more likely however I would hasten to add that such practises have very specific dangers if the pyl has not the ability to self release in an emergency situation.

I love my bed , I have yet to be told not to sleep in it .

I can't stand to be touched during 'sleep time' although I will cuddle all day long...my Sir runs so hot I sweat and am very uncomfortable if he tries to touch or cuddle me while I'm sleeping or trying to sleep.

I would love to have a nice soft mat on the floor, as long as I have a few fluffy pillows and my teddy bear I'm okay.

LOL, couldn't have said it better myself...I often wish I could apply a little oil to the joints like an old car, just to get things moving easier in the mornings. We have discussed a mattress on the floor for very occasional times when he might wish to punish me or make a point, but the problem he sees with that is he gets punished as well as he likes me within reach and actually has trouble sleeping if I am not right there where he can at the least hold me by the hand. Sometimes I do sleep with his chain around my neck and attached to the bedhead...those nights I find I sleep more peacefully, but they don't happen often enough lately to make it overall therapeutic. Wherever I sleep, it is always naked.

i do too. actually i sleep with several. the one i always wrap myself around when im not with him is the big stuffed dog he gave me for our six month anniversary.

Now that we live together M’lady has me sleep in my own bed in another room. Sometimes i'm rewarded by being allowed to sleep in the bed with Her; sometimes even when i’m emotional or struggling with something She'll also give me that privilege. She has suffered from insomnia all Her life and considers actually sleeping with anyone a very intimate act.

When i was staying with Her (before we lived together), She had me sleep in the bed with Her and occasionally punished me by making me sleep on the floor. As i had gotten in the habit ,changing to what we are now was a bit difficult for me - as i long to be close to Her and sleeping with Her is very calming for me. However, i am ultimately grateful now that She has made that distinction in our relationship; as it is really Her privilege to give and if it doesn’t suit Her then it is more appropriate that She is sleeping rather than only me.

As i do prefer to be close to Her, i have permission to sleep on Her floor anytime i wish. So on a couple of occasions ,when i have need to feel close to Her, i have dragged in some bedding and cushions and slept on the floor.

I felt exactly the same way in slightly different circumstances once Cat. Actually still prefer my left arm against the small of my back ( not sure if that descriptive makes sense ) when I am falling asleep on my side still. Even without any form of restraint now I just naturally go to that position. It became a ritual of comfort and bond.

I have always shared Master's bed, right from our first night together. We sleep snuggled in to each other's backs, and I have a "cuddle pillow" (instead of a teddy bear - sorry satindesire ).

I have enough trouble falling asleep anywhere and then staying asleep. I feel most comfortable sleeping in "our" bed with him, but we never seem to retire at the same time. There was a time when I thought how wonderfully slavish it would be to sleep on a mat on the floor next to his side of the bed or at the foot of the bed wrapped in "pseudo" slave furs all comfy cosy like....oh yes I was feeling very kajira-ish back then. I suppose I was trying to prove something...not sure what. Anyway "he" felt the idea was ridiculous, since we had a perfectly good bed for sleeping.
I'm prone to snoring on occasion and of course this wakes him up and he'll go and sleep on the couch which then upsets me. I spose we are past the romantic stage in our relationship and just want to sleep solo...shrugs...well maybe not completely solo, we have a new kitten.
Now, I won't wake him with my noises and I won't wake up when he finally decides to come to bed. I'm not really happy about the situation as you can imagine, but hey that's RL for us.
There is no way I could fall asleep in his arms, but of course I enjoy the cuddling before we get down to the very serious business of actually sleeping.
I do love the smell of him on the sheets, that's something I find very comforting, but then I just like his "raunchy" male scent anyway....
