Where do you get your inspiration?

I just got done watching a movie and had an inspiration for a story. There's alot of good stories on Literotica and I wonder where everyone gets their inspiration? Movies, real life, fantasies?
Especially from those of you have hundereds of stories. What inspires you?

I'm always thinking up new story ideas. They could be from fantasy, a dream, a memory...

I think that's why I have so many stories I've started, ones I've written a basic story line to that I can go back to when I get time.

Personally, I'll drop what I'm doing to write down a story idea before I forget it. As LDW knows, I've been dripping wet straight out of the shower to write down an idea. I'm hopeless ;-)

I've been asked this question before, and the only answer I could give was that these stories just pop in my head. It's like this morning, I thought up an original NUDE DAY CONTEST story. It's a shame I'm too late to write it. lol

Still, the idea will still be there next time round. I suppose I just have a vivid imagination. In fact my first encounter with the joys of writing occured when I was in secondery school. I'd written a short story that impressed the head master so much, he got me up in front of the entire school (at assembly) to read it out loud.

I'm fucked up, brain isn't normal, creativity way off the deep end, plays with irony like kids play with mud, reads way more fantasy and sci-fi than can be healthy, forgot pants this morning crazy.

That seems to be where my inspirations come from.

My inspiration for the erotica I write comes from real life experiences, most of it is in fact based on things that have actually happened.

The Erotic Horror I write doesn't. Much.

That comes from the wickedly dark recesses of my mind. Some scary shit happens in there. That and I read a lot and talk to others about my great passion for hours on end.

I know what you mean. I literally keep a to-write list to track all the different story ideas that i'll eventually turn into full adult stories.

And pants are the work of the seraphim. I'll have no part of them. Instead I shall live free in the wind. Or at least as much wind as can get in these padded rooms.
