In the dining room.

Aids the digestion. Family time.

In the diningroomlivingroomstudykitchen.

Compact Living, baby.

summer = patio. Winter? Hm. In livingroon or bedroom.

Breakfast: In the Breakfast Room of the old house.

Lunch: In the kitchen or living room of the new house.

Dinner: In the dining room of the new house.

Supper (if taken): In the kitchen of the old house.

The dining room of the old house is unused at present.

Expansive living and I wish the old house would sell so I didn't have to keep cleaning 9 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and worst of all 7 toilets...

Og

PS. Keeping wildlife out of the 9 chimneys of the old house is an unending battle. I didn't have to do it when we first had the house. All I had to do then was keep 10 fires (now 9) going and shovel all the fuel and ash. In the first winter we used 8 tonnes of coal.

Recently, either on the couch or in the office. Our old dining table was way too big for the new apartment and we haven't found a suitable replacement yet.

Well aren't we all DULL! We should be thinking about eating nude in bed with chopsticks and well nude off bodies for starters.

That isn't a meal time.

That's playing with our food.

Different. Nice. But meals are serious matters that require our whole attention and no distractions.

Where did I leave that roasting ox?

Maybe it's a Brit thing, eating at the table.

TV dinners in the US?

Just curious.

I prefer to eat at a table, I find it much more comfortable. The gosling prefers to eat from her lap.....either on a couch or in bed. I have given in sometimes, but I have too much me in the way of my lap for that to be a safe position without spilling food all over the floor and me.

Sometimes breakfast is eaten on the walk, while doing something else. Sometimes, lunch (lately) is eaten outside on the patio - but only if its a sandwich. Anything else is too difficult to manhandle.

Kendo, I don't think its a Brit thing, I think its an acclimatisation/culture thing. Up until their middle teens, my kids and I always ate dinner at table, then they started taking dinner into the tv room, so they didn't miss The Simpsons or whatever was holding their attention at that time. Obviously not my cooking.

I eat from my lap, like the gosling. I sit in an easy chair. Tonight it's soup and crackers. Sometimes a sandwich.

It varies, mostly, I admit, we sit in the living room. Hubby and I eat off our laps (plates are involved too ;) ) and my daughter has her own little chair with a little table to eat at. However, we also eat at the kitchen table (our downstairs is one big room seperated in the midle by sliding doors) when we have friends and family round and also during the week, just cos -it really depends on how we feel on that day. When we eventually move we suspect we'll go to diningroom/kitchen table eating all the time as my daughter will have grown out of her little chair/table combo.

Wherever i am. Mostly in the car on the way to work or at my desk or near my PC.

Healthy aint I?

Sometimes in the dining room. Sometimes in front of the computer. Rarely in front of the TV. The family is too disconnected to have 'meal times'.

Usually at the table in what I call "the kitchen" but the builder of the house calls "the breakfast nook". If we have a good sized group, we use the dining roon table. We eat most of our meals at home.

breaky~ on the go... usually in the car
lunch~ on the go...usually in the car
dinnah~ livingroom or dining room depending on clear table space and time.

Eating from laps seems to be a popular choice.

Whose lap can I eat from?

I love to eat at a table, but that's rare these days. I usually eat in the car on the way to somewhere I should have been ten minutes ago. Lately I've been lucky to have time to eat once a day.

ack! I can't stand eating in the car... and I never understood the eating while driving deal... what is that about??? My ex could eat a whole meal one-handed...

I don't like it myself, but if I don't do it then I don't eat that day. When I first wake up I can't eat or I'll get sick. By the time I'm awake long enough to eat I have to be on the go. Like in a few minutes now.

I'm a very big guy, but people would be surprised at how little I eat. A lot of times I get so busy that I forget to eat. During the recording of our last album I got pretty sick. Headache, severe abdominal pain, weakness. I took a break, and then I realized that I hadn't eaten in over three days, I'd only been drinking coffee. I completely lost track of time and forgot to eat. LOL. Other than that, I'm usually pretty sharp. :)

I normally eat at the desk while at work. Otherwise on a day off it's TV trays in the living room. Unless it's a date of course, then the dining room table is set.
