But with regard to a few of your kumbaya progressive friends (a few, because most - authentic - GB liberals are fine).

What's their real view of women? Because, leaving aside their "let's all kumbaya" rhetoric, I sense a real hint of misogynysm.
And I haven't sensed these attitudes in many Board conservatives.

You don't even seem to realise how and why I ended up posting in the threads of some Board conservatives. (In real life I'm a lib., but here I compartimentalize).

Because almost from week 1 I was stalked and treated in such a demeaning manner, by you angry bunch. And over one of the most idiotic things that I ever heard of : the "hashish is a pervy female impersonator" thing.

Whereas a lot of the board conservatives treated me with respect, even though I was clearly much less knowledgeable than them and I was pretty harsh and attacking of conservatives, at that point.
Moreover, some of them have a good sense of humour or are very well-informed , and I can learn a thing or two from them.
Can I learn as much from you guys? Niet.

Now I bet that you or your friends will say that I'm an attention-seeker and that no one cares about my stoopid monollogues.

It isn't just sex, nice folks get excited about everything. 25 years ago I bought a 1952 Packard and brought it home. Within a day a county inspector came by to ticket me for possessing an abandoned car. I showed him the title and he left. Two days later he returned to ticket me for an unlicensed vehicle. I showed him the registration and tag, and he left. He came back with an ugly car complaint. And later came back because the car wasnt running (it was being restored).

People do the same with my garden and fruit trees.

Nice people are assholes.

But on this Board: the terms "libs./conservatives" are too loosely used here.
I personally judge posters a lot less on their rhetoric (I live in a very PC place where words are just tools for people to get what they want) and more on their actions.
