When you're with someone, how do you like to sleep? Are you the "cuddling" kind, or the "leave me alone and let me sleep" kind? Do you have to be touching the other person, or do you prefer to stay on your own side of the bed and not be disturbed?

Me? I'm the type who (most of the time) has to be practically laying on the other person.....arm and leg over him; curled up against his back; something like that.

Too cuddle and touch is all so nice, but when things get too warm (not talking of sex), it's leave me alone and let me sleep. Wish there was more of the former and less of the alone.

I enjoy it if the girl like's to spoon or lay her head on my shoulder with her arm/leg across me. The only time I mind, is if she starts talking in her sleep. That kinda freaks me out...

In summer, we each depart to our seperate halves (or, in his case, seperate two thirds of the bed, he's a bed hog) of the bed, it just gets too hot to cuddle.

Ohhh...you've got one of those too, huh? Every time I get up, mine lays diagonally on the bed "so he'll know when I get back in bed" (his story......personally, I think he just likes taking up the whole bed! )

I'm happy either way. I usually end up with one big arm pinning me to the bed, and one big leg around me. But that's ok, I like to be *possessed*. But if nobody's in the mood for cuddling, I do fine all by myself.
Spoonies are my favorite way to fall asleep. Another is laying on our backs but with our sides flush to one another, and his arm under my pillow.

In real life it does. After the new wears off you tend to spend less time pressed up against each other. Not saying you don't "cuddle" you just tend not to fall asleep or wake up that way.

That's how I like it. My hunny is like a mini furnace in the wee hours of the night. Since we sleep nude we end up sticking together. So I turn away and cuddle a pillow when I can't stand it anymore.

I prefer to have one leg (left one) out of the covers.. regardless of how cold it is. It's something I have done all my life.. so I mainly sleep on my back. I hate having arms or legs thrown over me while I'm sleeping. I like to be up against him.. but dammit.. DON'T lay on me.. that's why we have a king size bed.. so we each have our own sides. If I wanted him on top of me all night.. I'd buy a twin size bed..

Thank Goodness mine's a very peaceful sleeper; he hardly ever even turns over.

I hope the newness never wears off. I've been with my Man almost 14 years and we have been living together 10 years and we still sleep close. Even in the summer when it's hot out. That's what ac is made for.

I just love falling asleep pressed up against him with my arm and leg over him, my head resting on his chest listening to his slow steady heartbeat. He usually wraps his arms around me and holds me close and tickles my back until I sleep.

In the morning we almost always back up the same way. Me on my left side with him spooned up against me. One arm under my pillow and his other hand resting on my boob. It's a good way to wake up. Even after all this time.

It varies; I love to cuddle/snuggle at first, and when I am wking up in the morning, but I thrash about, talk in my sleep, and I often get too warm, so sometime during the night I am probably going to want my space - not to mention my bed partner is not going to want to be near someone who kicks or flails about.

i'm a very difficult person to sleep in the same bed with. i like to cuddle but my insomnia and repeated waking up during the night makes that difficult lots of times i have to go sleep on the couch so my SO and i both get a good night's sleep. it really sucks.

I'm a hard person to sleep with, I'm one of those people who practically molest you while you are sleeping. I just need to have my arms and at least one leg wrapped around whoever is sleeping next to me, no matter who it is. But because I'm an insomniac I keep waking up in the middle of the night and for some reason I always switch positions, which is bound to wake the other party up because I am so intertwined with them.

I've also been told I hog blankets too but I have yet to see that proven.

I move almost continuously in my sleep so I can't put myself in a position where my bed partner is lying on my arm or something like that.

I don't mind being the spoon-ee, but I still can't spoon a woman without getting aroused, even with the clothes on. Not that I can't lay still for a while, but I have trouble sleeping when I'm so aroused.
