stole cookies from the cookie jar?

Well, What did you think I was gonna say ;) lol

Hee hee.

In my house, we never had a cookie jar. :( I feel deprived all of a sudden.

Actually we didn't either, it was a tin. Bloody thing couldn't keep the ants out !!

It was easy to get into without making a noise, it was sliding the cuboard door open without Mum hearing it that was the hardest part. :)

Nope! The only thing that concerned me was that my Mother would find out and ask who did it. Then I would have to 'fess up. We were allowed childhood mischief, but we weren't allowed to lie about it. If we did and were caught at it, just wait till your Father gets home! (childhood version of the death penalty!) :D

Oooo...cookie tin, huh? That's works. Heh...I can only imagine the sneaking capabilities of that thing.

When I was really little, I used to have this thing where I'd go in the fridge and steal apples...but then I'd leave the half-eaten apples lying all over the place. I have photographic evidence of me taking an apple out of the fridge. Dman them and their stealthiness! :(

Lost Cause-
Love that AV. Makes me giggle. Hee hee. :D

Catholic Jew. I win the guilt competition everytime.

No such thing. Not only did we not have a cookie jar, but Mom let us have cookies whenever we wanted them.

Buy a water proof container to fill with choc cookies to tie on your back while you swim to New Zealand...... NOW :D

LOL! I'm pretty sure she was using reverse psychology on us. If we were allowed to have something any time we wanted it, we didn't want it nearly as much. Or something like that. Mom was damn cool. :D

"Muuuuummm Wiggles got a bigger cookie than I did I want another!"

My mom was a baker and then some.
During the holidays she would have DOZENS of tins crammed full of cookies stacked on the dining room table.
She would tell all her friends and neighbors, "My boys don't want to eat any of my cookies."
HOWEVER, if my brother or I ever opened a tin it was "Wait till your father gets home."

Actually we don't call them cookies down here in New Zealand, they are known as biscutts... :)
