When you take and/or look at erotic photos...

what do you look for? Doesn't everything look the same after awhile? If you are taking them...how do you change the perspective so it doesn't look so monotonous?

Its gotten to the point where nude photos do nothing for me, unless I know the mind behind hte body to make them attractive. so I imagine the perspective of a porn photographer / erotic photographer is.. oh yay boobies. whoopdy doo.

Lighting.

It is all about the lighting.

If I use orange lights the sheep looks orange. Red lights the sheep looks red. Keeps the porno fresh and interesting.

like Life Drawing... oh wow, a naked woman sitting in front of me. once you get past the learning stage, you do have to vary your style/framing/compostion/medium to make sure it doesnt look samey

suggestions?

depends really on what you do at the moment.

For instance, if you focus on one part of the body, shift the focus up/down/left/right. Zoom in, zoom out rotate through x/y/z axes.

Frame your pictures differently, maybe don't leave any gap between skin and the side of the image. E.g, for a woman standing up, use the right-hand image bored to cut her last 1/3 off, and have something visually...um.. acceptable to the left of your image.

Changer your medium. Sketch, Paint, Sculpt etc. instead of photography..

anything else?

Your compositions are usually quite good, BC. Your use of mirrors for example is great.

You're starting with a fine canv ass if I may say so...why not start incorporating some backgrounds to up the thrill?

A flash of you on the Capilano suspension bridge, or at the window of your home...outdoorsy stuff, mall dressing rooms...

If I were your art director, that's what I'd do.
