Way back when...yes...I would have to break all ties. I found that if myheart was linked to them, after a break-up if I hadn't broken all ties, I would get twisted in knots when seeing them.

I will admit to not getting rid of everything that reminds me of them...momentos of times gone by...but nothing that had a strong attachment to it.

no. i did it once but only after the said person harassed me for 3 yrs.

From my experience and after talking to friends, men seem more prone to severing ties and getting rid of memories.
