When the suns go down

"Jack?" Rex askes not believing. "Hold still, Im going to retinal scan you. Don't move!" With his left hand he reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a retinal scanner. He slowly scans her green eyes. He takes a step back and waits for the read out.

Rex puts the scanner back in his rear pocket and smiles at 'Jacky'.

"Seems you are worth more then Riddick here." He gives the body on the ground a kick. He leans his rifle against the wall. From a pocket in his pants pocket he pulls out an electronic tracking device and locks it around Riddick's neck. He walks over and picks up his rifle and looks down at Riddick.

"Even if he runs I get the credit for the capture." Rex turns toward Jacky. "My ship is on its way. You should find it more comfortable then a prison ship!"

"If you havent noticed we have crashed landed here, there are no comunication devices, also that information is wrong. The names jack, i was an orphan, my parents died, i have no burns and no scar on the back of my knee. Idk who Jacqueline is but it is not me." She glared at the man knowing he didnt know what he was talking about

"Ok Jack, if that is what you wish to be called. Do you know what a interstellure becon is, by any chance. If not then I will tell you. An ISB is an emergency distress signal sent out into space on a specific wave lenth. Repeates pick it up all over the galaxy. I got two hits on different repeaters before I left to come find Riddick here." Rex looks around rifle at the ready.

"Anyway Jack, it will take some time but I know about where we are. There are several mining planets within a couple light years from Biltmore Station Prison. Riddick here didn't know he was going to the Biltmore Station. Few prisoners do. Most deeply regret their crimes after a time at Biltmore Station. There is no easy time at Biltmore, oh no. I've seen prisoners walk out airlocks rather then be there."

The girl rolled her eyes knowing that this man obviously didnt know much about this planet. "This isnt a mining planet, if it was then there would still be people here mining it. The people who were here got killed by something, they must have because everything they had including money, clothing, rations, are still here. Who ever they were, they were studieing this planet to see if it was inhabatable. Obviously it is not. And if there was any signal out then why wouldnt someone have come to check on the scientists when they didnt report back? Oh and by the way Riddick escaped." She was glad he would be leaving her alone to go chase a man that was very dangerous.

"He has a tracking collar on. Unless he cuts his head off. He can be tacked. So Jack why did you get on a prison ship? Did you want to get away that bad. Wher did you think it was going?" Rex leans against a locker. Resting his rifle on his shoulder.

"First off you didnt put a collar on him, his big vainy neck was showing the whole time and second it was a charter ship not a prison ship, Johns was going to turn him in once we got to the next habited planet. Which is not this planet. And the reason I was on that ship is none of you damn business." She shoved past the man and walked out into the bright light. Looking for someone else she could talk to.

"Let me ask you some thing, Jack. When my ship does come. Do you want to stay on this rock?" He watches as 'Jack' walks away. "You can't run from life forever, Jack!"

"Im not running from anything. Oh but your pal Riddick, I'm sure he will kill you." There was venom in her voice as she kept walking away.
