I had a book of the earlier versions of the fairy tales when I was a girl. Most of them gave me nightmares. Y'all sure do know how to scare the kiddies!

Yep - that's what most of our fairytales supposed to cause.
On the other hand most of 'em have pretty nice happy endings like "and they live happily ever after". Too bad when you've missed that part.
