Does anyone know if stories are published at a particular time of day? Could a story I've posted (what seems like a million years ago) appear at any time, or do they tend to turn up at a set time? If the story hasn't been published first thing in the morning, is that going to be it for the day?

They usually come out in the middle of the night my time, so I don't know exactly when that is, but it is possible for publication to be delayed to later in the day. My last story didn't go live at the usually appointed time. It appeared mid-morning on my works page, but I don't think it showed up on the New page/category hub until early afternoon.

Yes. I have noticed that 95% of the time stories are published between 2 am and 3 am Eastern (US) Time.

This has been my experience as well. (And, yes, I'm usually up and at the computer then).

My limited experience here is central time in the USA, after midnight and before three am.

Yes, all mine have gone live at 7am GMT, which I assume is midnight in Lit land.

Normally, just before or just after midnight, Pacific time.

Yes, all of mine go live within the same hour each time, which I assume means a midnight server run somewhere in the US. Adjusted for summer time, too, whenever the clocks go forward or back.

Actually, Lit servers are on Eastern Time, so yeah, any time after midnight in the states. You will see a post in your authors Activity on you dashboard when it is published.

I just had one published 7 hours ago. After the first 24 hours it will just list a date. 7 hours ago is 1:00 in the morning Central Time.

I'm on the West Coast, USA. Stories get posted at 11 pm here. Daylight savings, (other half of the year) they get posted at 10 pm.

Before, there'd be some stories that get posted later in the day, but they stopped doing that.

There are still some being posted later in the date. My last story went up late.

I'm wondering if there might be some technical issue with my latest story. I originally submitted it a few weeks ago and it was sent back for an apparent rules violation. I resubmitted it ten days ago and it's still
'pending'. I've never had a story take so long to publish, even stories that I had to resubmit due to a rules violation. It makes me wonder if there's some issue and I haven’t resubmitted it correctly.

If your list of published stories doesn't have "1 Pending", then double check you've hit all the buttons correctly. If it's listed, then send Laurel a polite PM asking her to check where it is.
