When Kevin met Hailey...again(Closed for The_gladiator)

Kevin returned with a glass of water for himself and sat on the other side of the couch, "Yeah I'm tired too." he said softly, "Are you sure you don't want a glass of wine?" he asked unsure what else to say.

Hailey thought for a moment, then let out a breath as she nodded. "A glass of wine sounds pretty good," she replied, knowing that it would help calm her nerves a little.

He rose and returned with a bottle of wine, it wasn't nice wine, but it wasn't the really cheap wine either. "Sorry this was the best I had." he said sounding a little apologetic as he popped the cork and pored two glasses. He did actually have wineglasses, which was surprising, but maybe he used them a lot, it was hard to say.
He handed it to her his fingers brushing hers for a second before pulling his hand back and picking up his own, "Did you want to propose a toast?" he asked finally.

Hailey watched him get up, pushing away memories of the last time they'd had wine together. "It's fine, Kevin...really, it is," she told him, giving him a little smile as he returned. She held her breath as their fingers brushed, feeling almost as if time had froze. "Thanks," she murmured as she settled back against the couch, running a hand through her hair. "How about a toast to new beginnings," she suggested when he mentioned a toast, bravely meeting his eyes with hers.

he nodded and raised his glass to hers, and then took a sip, "And what type of beginning are you looking for Hailey?" he asked his eyes studying her closely, his gaze penitrating as if he were trying to see into her soul.

Hailey took a sip of her wine, her fingers tightening around her glass a little. She wanted to look away from Kevin and his searching eyes, but she found it hard too. "Well...I hope we can at least be friends," she said softly, taking another sip of her wine.

Kevin didn't know what answer he had been expecting, didn't even know what he wanted from her. He shrugged, "We'll see what happenes." he said, "I missed you, but can I really trust you Hailey?" he asked her softly as he sipped his wine.

Hailey sighed, taking a big sip of wine. She knew it was going to take a lot to get him to trust her again, and she hoped he would after some time. "I could never, and would never, do that to you again, Kevin. I want you to be able to trust me," she answered softly, closing her eyes and resting her head back against the couch. "I was 19 and I was scared. The last person who had claimed to love me only claimed that so he could get close to my best friend. They ran off together after high school," she told him softly, running a hand through her hair as she turned her head to look at him. "And I'm sorry, that for even one moment, I thought you were the same as him. I know now that you never would've hurt me. Instead..I hurt you."

Kevin shook his head, "I would have moved heaven and earth for you Hailey. Not just because you were the one to teach me to be a man, not because you showed me the pleasures of Oral sex, the pleasures of what a woman can do to a man...and I'm still hooked. No it was more than that, I thought I loved you, maybe I did maybe I didn't I don't really know now, but I did care for you, and I did trust you." he said softly looking at the couch between them without meeting her gaze this time as he said all this.

Hailey couldn't stop the memories that flooded back as Kevin spoke, the images that passed through her mind ones that she had thought of constantly after she had left him. It broke her heart to realize how horrid she had been to him, to know that she had caused him to doubt himself for the past five years.

She set her wine glass down on the floor, staring at the wall as she gathered her thoughts. "I haven't stopped thinking about you since I left, Kevin. I constantly thought about how horrible I had been to you that last day...but I also thought about how you treated me. I don't know why I ever thought that you would hurt me, because I knoew you never would," she whispered, turning her head to look at him.

She wasn't sure what had possessed her to lean over, but soon she was resting a hand on his cheek in hopes that he would look at her. "I want you to be able to trust me again. I still care for you," she murmured, running a hand through her hand as she blinked back tears she refused to let fall. She didn't want him to think she was pulling an act...because she wasn't. All the words that were coming out of her mouth were pure truth.

He shivered at her hand on his cheek. It was as soft as he remembered and he couldn't help leaning his face into that soft touch, so familiar yet so different, everso slightly. "I would have never hurt you." he said softly unable to think what else to say.

Hailey was silent for a few moments, just letting her thumb brush across his cheek as she gathered her thoughts. "I know, Kevin. I screwed things up big time, didn't I?" she asked softly, bravely allowing her thumb to brush his lips before drawing her hand back. "Everything is your choice now...you have the next move. I'm not going to force you to be my friend, or to make you relive that hell I put you through. If you want, I can be gone before you even wake up tomorrow," she told him softly, picking up her glass to take a sip.

He shrugged a little, "You don't have to leave right away." he said, "Unless you still don't want to be around me." he said softly.

Hailey finished her wine and set her glass down again, running a hand through her hair as she gathered her thoughts. "Of course I want to be around you, Kevin...I just wanted to be sure that youwanted to be around me," she told him softly, moving closer to him on the couch. "Because I don't want you to think I'm going to hurt you again when I do this," she murmured, then leaned forward and pressed her lips against his softly.

he was a little surprised but didn't pull away as she kissed him, instead returned her kiss softly, letting her control the depth and energy of the kiss following her lead wondering where she wanted this to go, even as his hand moved over setting down his glass so he could move his arms around her waist as she kissed him.

Hailey automatically moved closer when she felt Kevin's arms around her waist, deepening the kiss a little as she ran her hands up and down his arms. She broke the kiss after a few moments, resting her forehead against his gently. "God, I've missed you Kevin," she told him softly as she kissed him again, her hands moving to rest on his waist as her fingers slipped under the hem of his shirt a little.

"I've missed you too." he said softly, "God no one kisses like you do." he murmered into her mouth, a deffinate compliment, not an idle comparison, it was one of the things he had always praised her for, during their time together, and he repeated it without even thinking. He had always loved her mouth, and everything she could do with it. He slowly parted his lips and let his tongue venture forth to meet hers as he helped to deepen the kiss, his hands sliding up to twine in her long hair.

Her heart jumped a little when she heard the familiar phrase from him, then a small moan passed her lips when his tongue met hers. Everything felt so familiar, that it was almost as if she'd never left him. She'd always loved feeling his gentle hands in her hair, and it nearly brought tears to her eyes to feel them there again. Her hands slid up under his shirt more, another moan muffled by their kiss as she felt his skin. "And I've missed feeling your skin against mine," she whispered against his lips, gently nipping his bottom one as her hands rested on his back.

"God Hailey, there's a lot I've missed about this." he murmered as his own teeth drew her lower lip into his mouth nibling and sucking on it before he moved his lips to her neck as if a thirsty man seeking a drink of water.

Hailey moaned as Kevin's lips moved to her neck, her fingers gripping his back as she tilted her head. "I want you Kevin...just as bad as I wanted you back then," she breathed out on a moan, her hands beginning to lift his shirt up.

"Remember what you taught me." he said softly, "If you want something in life go for it." he said, "If you want something bad enough, nothing will stop you." he said half teasing, half inviting, and half reminding her of the things she had taught him all those years ago, so much more than just how to make love to and with a woman.

"Mmm...and I've learned over the years that it's always good to take your own advice," she answered, laughing softly as she lifted his head away from her neck to kiss him deeply. "So taking that into consideration..." she started softly, pushing him back until she was almost laying ontop of him, "...I'm going to ask you a question. Bed, here, or the floor?" she finished with a grin, sliding a hand into his pants as she unbuttoned them.

he groaned at the feeling of her hand touching him through his basic cotton briefs, "It depends on what you intend to do to me." he murmered into her ear as he lay under her loving the feeling of her breasts on him and her hand grazing his cock through his underwear.

A shiver of pleasure rolled through her as she felt his breath on her ear, a small smile coming to her face when she heard his words. "I intend to do you, of course," she teased softly, turning her head to press her lips to his cheek as her fingers started to stroke him over his briefs. "A few thoughts have entered my mind concerning you. One of them being making love slowly and sweetly with you, while another involves fucking until we both scream," she murmured as she kissed his lips, before moving to kneel on the rug next to him as she tugged at his pants and briefs. "And while I let you figure out which one first and where," she started, looking up at him as she awrapped her fingers around his cock, "I intend to do this," she told him, the lowered her head and took him into her warm mouth.

"Jesus christ." he groaned startled by her sudden and extremely erotic words and actions, "Fuck." he murmered as her mouth made contact with his hardness, the courseness of his language showing his surprise and lowered inhibitions. He found his fingers playing with strands of her hair holding it back from her face as she worked her magic. He didn't know what to say he wanted to tell her how good she was, how much he'd missed this, but all he could do was make little moans.
