Very cool. I miss local wrestling. There was a group from Vancouver that were bringing over a good group of young wrestlers but poor promotion so it folded. Very upsetting reading the IOC wants to kick wrestling out of the Olympics. Big back lash yesterday and today from every corner of the wrestling world.

WIWAK We thought it was a thrill to get a sip of coffee once in awhile, now young kids are drinking coffee very strange parenting

In some ways it is lol they do get injuried but the matches are fixed. When we met Brett Hart at a book signing you can see the damage on his face. This was also after he suffered a stroke but he worked hard to over come the effects of the stroke. Plus all the chairs to head and neck do a lot of damage over the years.

WIWAK One of my brothers and I favorite Saturday tv shows was Maple Leaf or Stampede Wrestling

Now WWE has Saturday Morning show geared to kids somethings to come around
 
WIWAK you could prank call people and there was no caller ID...and you used a phone book to find their numbers...
 
WIWAK teenagers and young adults seemed to drink wine coolers were refreshing drinks...:)

When I was a little kid I spent hours playing Jungle Hunt and Pole Position at my friend's House
 
When I was a kid...

I went to Disney World every single year with my parents...

I felt so loved and life was pure magic...:heart:
 
When I was a kid...

My dad would always check to see if I brushed my teeth very well each night. He is a dentist ( retired now) and would always know if I was lax about it .....to this day and night , I always think of him telling me to brush my teeth and floss, floss, floss. It paid off tho, because I don't have any fillings !
 
WIWAK I spent my Saturdays pretty much like I do now...in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal...:)
 
When I was a kid right around this time I would be forced to get a new Easter suit and shoes...:rolleyes:
 
WIWAK I went to the tavern with my grandfather every Saturday afternoon and played pinball machines and drank Pepsi while my grandfather played cards and drank beer. Those were the good old days!
 
WIWAK if you didn't see Star Wars at the theatre it was a long 12yr wait for VHS to be invented
