When does the honeymoon period wear off?

I think it ended for me when my husband began to watch other asses being oiled for sun on the cruise. Or was it when i looked. He was a bore. lol.

Well it's been 17 years for me and Tank and the honeymoon damn sure is not over! WOOHOO!!! Shit it's better now then ever in fact! :D

About six months, three days, four hours and twenty-six minutes...not that I kept track or anything.

Oh, you know, waxes and wanes.

I think having kids probably accelerates a decline, as they put such demands on time, finances, emotional space, etc.

Mr K and I have been married for about 3.5 years; since we don't have any kids (yet) and have a decent income, we can do things every once in a while like say "oh, let's get on the Eurostar and have a weekend in Paris", so we can indulge and be romantic, which I'm sure once we start a family will be impossible. I reckon I'll have to get more creative when that happens. (Paris kinda does all that hard work for ya, y'know?)

Pretty sure it is over when you hear...

"What, Again? We just did it the other night!"

"That was three weeks ago honey."

"Like I said, we just did it the other night!"

:)

Hey doll. :rose:

I hope it never ends but develops into a comfortable blanket that covers you, during daylight and starnight.

Like driving through Wyoming

There are smooth flat spots, gentle rises and sweeping curves. There are also dramatic ups and downs. You soon realize that its all part of the trip.
You see, it`s the trip that it is all about.

The honeymoon? lasts till the first time she has to pee, and you don`t want to stop.

Yes, I think you're right. It has something to do with flashing ... or, flashlights ... or, flashcards ... or,

Has it worn off Myst? In a perfect world it should never wear off. Keep it alive and don't worry about it...

Oh, but it is a comfortable blanket, even in those rough times. Love is all encompassing and shrouds us in mysticism.
