Erectile dysfunction can hit at any age. Most of the time those who are younger get it because of an under laying medical condition, like high blood pressure. As far as age related ED, as has been said, cases start showing up in the early 40's, but it doesn't mean that everyone will suffer from it. As noted by Ogg, some have no problem with it even into advanced old age.

Additionally I read an article that said if you were very sexually active in your younger years (think regularly occurring 4-6 hour marathon sex sessions), that ED will occur at a younger age then most, no later than 50. Hope this helps.
