When does a Lit member cease to be considered a "Newbie"?

What does it take? 100 posts? 500? 1000?
A month? 3 months? 6 months?

I guess I look at time. The people who have posted 1000 times in the two months since they have been here just seem like "fluffers" to me who don't take the time to acutally get to know any of the more serious contributers here. I figure that after a few months and more than a couple hundred posts make member qualify as a "serious" member.

When you actually no longer feel like a newbie. When you no longer question your status.
I lurked for quite some time before I ever posted. I read a lot of threads and learned about a lot of the people here before I jumped in and decided to get my feet wet.
