I think he's making the Left re-examine their standards and they're failing miserably at it while insisting it's all Trump's fault.

The Left, OTOH, seems to be violently opposed to any speech except "approved" speech. To the point they will riot in the streets to stop speech they don't agree with. Returning to the topic of the thread...

Many people followed Trump's invitation to go down into the rabbit hole of introducing physical violence to political discourse. His punch-'em-in the-mouth promotion of domestic violence as a means to express dissatisfaction with perceived "enemies of the people" is unprecedented among modern Presidents, and it obviously started with Trump even before he was elected.

But, once a significant portion of society goes down that rabbit hole, it causes a series of actions and reactions, both from the so-called right and the so-called left. It proliferates acts of deadly physical violence by violent extremists.

By definition, a person is not "criminally insane" until after they break a major law, usually having to do with physical violence. The best predictor of whether a person, sane or insane, is likely commit an act of deadly physical violence is a person's statements about the value of violence in resolving domestic issues.

At least one poster on this particular thread has openly espoused his belief that violence resolves domestic problems, and he has illustrated this with his claim that he has gone to rallies to collect the teeth of "weak ass leftists". BotanyBoy has joined BusyBody on Lit in openly advocating for domestic violence.

Are they insane? Answering that question is actually irrelevant to a discussion about the best and most sustainable ways to conduct a democratic society and to minimize acts of mass violence and domestic terrorism.
