What's your vavourite holiday destination

Hawai'i...O'ahu and The Big Island mainly. Have family all over the islands, which makes it easy to see the spots most tourists miss out in the country. My vavourite :p spot is Kalapana on The Big Island, where the Black Sand Beach is.

We did the western Europe trip once when I was little, and I'd LOVE to redo that trip. We stayed in farmhouses, and the people were so wonderful. Scotland and the western side of England would be another location I'm hoping to visit someday. And New Zealand, and Greece. Done most of the States, but I'd really like to visit Alaska and take pics of the bears.

When in a lively mood, nothing can beat the excitement of a large city that never sleeps: New York or London -- something for everyone. Favorite place to stay in London is "self-catering accommodation" (basically renting a condo instead of the usual teenytiny hotel room) in St Katherine's Dock next to the Tower Bridge. It's a cool oasis in the middle of the city and really convenient.

To recharge emotional batteries way beyond empty, I once drove from Houston to Taos, New Mexico. At one point in New Mexico, I drove an hour at highway speed without seeing another house, car, person, NOTHING but the big sky, wide open space and plateau. It was exactly what I needed and to this day, remembering it brings peace and calm. I hear Montana is like that too and someday I'd like to go there.

All time favorite place in all my travels was standing on a Rocky Mountaintop at nearly 14,000 feet with an incredible wind wooshing up the moutainside and past my face, while leaning back into the safety and warmth of my love's arms.

There is little to beat the West Coast of Scotland for me.
I used to live near Chipping Norton, Van B.
